This sounds like the sort of crap that someone with a pre-conceived agenda to discredit pac, but very real actual reason to do so, would come up with. As usual, youre an idiot, etc.

You occasionally make sense, but I wonder what hydro you go onto last night when you posted this.

Since when does "style" get determined by skin colour?

When you're the best in the sport, you'll always have a bunch of haters trying to discredit you. Jones had them and Hopkins had them and Floyd had them and now Pac has them and the wheel keeps on turning

While this has to be one of the strangest rationales for a P4P ranking, it does raise a fair point.

Manny still hasn't faced a particularly "slick" fighter in his run at the top. By the time he fought Marquez, Marquez had become more of a brawler, and bottom line, Marquez at his core still has a very Mexican style.

Holt or Bradley versus Pacquiao would be interesting fights, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for them to happen. I wouldn't argue with anybody who says they need to see Manny beat either or both of these two to prove he is the best at 140, and if he isn't the best at 140, you have grounds to argue that he isn't P4P #1.

If he steamrolls Hatton though, that argument gets much tougher to make, slick black opponents or not.

i will agree with you on this that it does raise certain questions but the answer has been proferred before. on a logical sense, i would like to put it concisely.

    1. it is not pacs fault that most of the fighters he fought from 106-130 are asians or mexicans or latinos. it is difficult to find 10 black fighters within this range when pac was making his run.

    2. pac has fought all races, blacks, asians, latinos and white (he fought this eastern european fighter who knocked him down but pac eventually won by stoppage).

    3. objectively and not being a racist, some sports or even some positions within a sport will never be dominated by blacks asians, or whites for that matter. for example:

    a. how many black quarterbacks have you seen in the last 60 years?
    b. how many truly great white basketball centers have you seen much less asian?
    c. how many black champion olympic swimmers can you think of? (and there is a scientific reason for this. blacks typically are heavier than whites and hence would be less bouyant.)

the list can go on and on. intelligent discussion would be welcome. :D

the black quarterback thing is not really about race. a good quarterback comes from a good quarterback coach. this coaching comes as early as 10 years old for most of these high profile quarterbacks. these coaches cost alot of money, so it becomes a case of economics.

just wait, white centers are gonna come. the sport is becoming more diverse by every season.

honestly im black and i cant swim. my body sinks to the bottom, so i think this is actually right.

i am not entirely sold out in the idea but i am a logical person so yes, there is a possibility. and considering only donova mcnabb is the QB who will fit the bill, (and i do remember him being shifted to another position), i am not sure if blacks will really attain parity when it comes to QB position but you do have a monopoly on the great RB.

tiger woods is not 100% but he has mad great strides, with golf being previously dominated by white for obvious economic and social reasons. but there are just some sports that are not fit except for one or two occasional freaks of nature.

but i doubt, there will come a white or asian basketball player who can surpass, wilt, russel and oneal. sure yao ming is taller by about 5 inches, and so manute bol and a host of white centers.

It's not "race", its just a cultural thing. Surely you understand this? Either way, Pacs never fought an elite fighter other than against a Mexican style.
