Nobody is beating Georges St. Pierre, he is the perfect fighter. The only way he loses is if he steps up to middleweight, like BJ did.

If Alves can prevent the TD he'll win, but I doubt he can stuff GSP.

    GSPs not Koscheck

Alves will likely stuff maybe the first one or the two first, but GSP will just tired him out then proceed to give him an ass whooping. In fact, I dont put much important to GSP's takedown if he will or not. Because we all know, at one point, he WILL take Alves down and wear him out.

I just fear Alves's leg kick who could take away some explosiveness of GSP. But with Greg Jackson making a gameplan, I'm not nervous at all. Kos did a BAD gameplan vs Alves. GSP will not. Kos seem to have a mentality to prove he is not borring, so he stand and strike. He only tried to put Alves down, when he was hurt, or in the 3rd round, when he wasnt as energic. Since this is a 5 rounds, GSP will still be advantaged if this go longer than 3 rounds, but I'll be surprised. GSP will TKO him due to GnP in the 3rd.

alves' main weapon is his leg kicks, if he tries one of those bad boys he'll be taken down for sure. GSP via GNP 2nd.

Yeah, I dunno if Alves will try them at full force, because he isnt enough good on his back to nullify GSP's GnP, whos seem to be the best in UFC in that matters.

Will Alves make weight? That's a legit question considering he didn't for Hughes and how friggin huge he is. Either way, GSP has too much going for him to lose this one and is too smart to play to Alves' strength when it's not good for him. I think it'll look like the Fitch fight with it being a five rounder depending on how much Alves can take.

The only way I see Alves winning is by lucky KO

Well, if he time perfectly a knee when GSP shoot for the takedown, that wouldnt be lucky in my book.

But GSP said he feared the knee of BJ so he didnt shoot at distance, so we might see the same gameplan for Alves, shooting the gap to clinch.

    GSP TKO3.

Alves will give GSP some problems at first with his aggressive stand up and power. Maybe even steal a round. But GSP will survive easily and once he takes Alves down when Alves gets tired it will be over really.

GSP is really too good for the WW division.
