I was thinking that this whole scandal with Margarito's wraps might be a good thing for Cotto's self belief.

Fighters loose that self belief of invincibility after taking such a big beating and losing, and it affects them in future fights.

But even if the wraps had nothing to do with his fight with Margo, maybe at least mentally it keeps him still thinking as an unbeaten fighter if it wasn't for "wraps". Don't know if I make sense here, but I think it's a good thing for Cotto even without knowing whether or not it was also the case in his fight with Margo.

Agree / Disagree / Cotto is a bum and I make no rationale sense?

AGREE! To an extent your right:thumbsup..Cotto might actually believe Tony had an advantage though he nor anybody else can ever prove that...But if he does believe it than he might have more confidence if he were to fight Tony again!

Yeah, it will give him false confidence.

He got his ass whipped. He hit Margo with some good clean shots. He was just too afraid to actually step in there and throw punches. He has the speed to do it, just not the chin.

I'm not even considering the hand wraps, because in Nevada they really don't play that ****. Even if he tried to do something in California against Shane, there is no guarantee that he tried it against Cotto.

Cotto is flawed, he is alot like Judah. What I mean by that is he is a great one way fighter. His offence is great but his defense??? Well that is horrible. To go along with that I dont think that Cotto is that tough, Arum has to be careful with Cotto for the next year and a half or so. NO Clottey, No Williams, No really tough guys that will walk though his shots and pound him to the body..Guys like Berto, would be good for him for now:good

Nah...I would have to totally disagree with u on that one. Zab relies alot on talent: his speed, athleticism, and power. Cotto has alot of skill. Personally i think he's one of the better all around fighters in the division. NO Defense!?...did u not see his fight with Margarito the first half of the fight before he got tired. He boxed very well and showed very good defense. I've always been a Mosley fan, but personally i think he's a better(all around fighter) than Mosley, he just applied the wrong game plan and didn't have that toughness(physical & mental) that Shane brings to his fights. He was actually outboxing Shane when they fought

I'm sure it is a moral boost. Doesn't mean MArgarito was heavy paded but Cotto is surely getting some confidence back with the story.

Of course it's a mentality boost and you will notice that he will be very encouraged to make a rematch happen very soon.

Agreed. I think these events will indeed restore some lost confidence for Cotto and I expect him now to really try to make a statement against Jennings.
