    Anyone saying he is going to win easily is clueless. Roach has an excuse, he's the guy's trainer,he is paid to say such things . You lot don't know what you're on about.

    No way is Hatton gonna make this an easy fight. He may well lose, but if he does he will not go down without an almighty scrap

    I'd love to know what Roach has in mind. What's the scenario, Freddie?

    Ricky Hatton comes with has-his-opponent-hurt intensity for 36 minutes. Manny Pacquiao doesn't have the instincts or the inclination to live that unmolested. Manny jumps straight back with his arms in the air when his wife takes a swing at him, FFS.

    If Roach is talking about running Hatton into a big shot, or a series of big shots and making early work of it that's somewhat conceivable in an "easy" sense. If he's referring to a 12 round schooling there's no possible way I can take that seriously.

    It's going to be a messy, ugly, hotly contested battle of wills even if you're getting the better of Hatton NO MATTER WHAT. Ask Floyd Mayweather, a true master tactician and defensive specialist. He said Hatton was the hardest fight of his professional career.

    If you stand still just long enough to throw a shot at Hatton he's on you. If you slide to the left he's on you. If you slide to the right he's on you. This, as he's throwing wild thudding shots from every concievable angle. Hatton is an ambidextrous high speed pogo hopping nightmare at equal or greater physical strength. He knocks Junior Welterweights around like they're made of synthetic foam... Good luck with that.

    Applies to both of em'.... whoever has the best game plan wins. Whatever the speed or power they both have. It's nothing without a massive plan how to use and counter them.

    Just like when roach said hopkins knows how to shut calzaghe down(LOL) and then hopkins got his ass kicked and lost.

    I agree with everything you just said, but on the other side of the coin, Hatton has never fought a fighter as explosive as Pac. Floyd was as fast, possibly faster but he didn't explode. Pac explodes with his punches, carries power with it and bounces in and out, Floyd had good footwork but he danced back and now and again stood still relying on his inside defense to slip and block the punches. Pac will either be out of range or when he's in range, he will be punching, not defending.

    Pac will land more, and land harder...for the type of fight this is gonna be, that will be strongly in Pac's favour.

    For that reason, I see this as an easy fight for Pac. Ive no doubt Hatton will hurt Pac but Pac will make it look easy, he's gonna KO Hatton in a brutal fight and make the fight look more one sided than even Hatton-PBF did.

    There's nothing wrong with what he said, just another way of saying if Pac fights stupid he'll get stopped easily by Hatton

    is there any fighter in history whoever won fighting STUPIDLY??? (except for robberies)...

    imo roach is just sending a message to pac that he better train soon and hard or he'll get busted up by ricky comew fight time...i think pac is slacking...
