Using the De La Hoya fight as any frame of reference for this bout is ludicrous. Maybe if Hatton had to make 135, he would be the same type of zombie that DLH was for his bout.

Diaz has never been a puncher at 135 and Oscar didnt land anything worthwhile during their bout.

Manny has never had to taste the kind of power he will face during the Hatton bout. JMM wobbled him, so I can only imagine what a great Hatton hook could do to him. On the flipside, Hatton walked through everything that Tszyu hit him with and kept coming. Manny most certainly does not have the power that Kostya had. If the Kostya that Hatton beat hit Oscar with as many clean shots as Manny did, Oscar would be in a body bag.

This will not be an easy bout for Manny in any way, shape or form.

If Hatton made Money May work for his money that night, I am sure he will make Pac work for his too. This is no easy fight unless Ricky comes in shot, unmotivated, or like a walking mummy like DLH did. I hope Pac is taking some wrestling lessons.

Yeah, and what in the world do you think Hatton is going to be doing when Pacquiao is "jumping in and out?" Having a cup of tea? Reading the paper? I don't think you get it, bud. Hatton is going to be moving forward, as he always does, in high speed perpetual motion. Forward, forward, forward, throughout the duration.

Pacquiao won't be having the same opportunities he generally enjoys against opponents who square up conventionally, and move in and out, boxing and fencing, trading ground with him in this fight. No how. Hatton just comes "in." There's no "out."

This is a non-working formula. ^ You aren't factoring Hatton's general method, or Pacquiao's consistent tendency to jump back and clear the deck when he's being assaulted.

    Interesting points.

Yeah, I really liked Hatton so much I picked Mayweather to clean his ****ing clock - which he did.

Homosexual fanboys/haters like yourself only think in terms of talking about a fighter like a ***** would, or sucking a fighters dick, eh? It's only one of those two things, right? That's a complex world you live in.

    Cheers, IM.

even if Pac fights the way he did against DLH i still don't see an easy win....Hatton's style will make it ugly for Pac and Pac ain't PBF....

You talk about Hatton like he is freaking T1000. The same guy who got buzzed by Luis Collazo, hurt by a raw Juan Urango, staggered by Juan Lazcano and virtually one-shotted by Floyd Mayweather isn't going to be rocked once by Manny Pacquiao, despite constantly trudging forward to make it an inside fight. And then when he gets inside, he's not going to be grappling the way he usually does, but murdering Manny with beautiful, fluid combinations upstairs and down, all the while aided by an airtight defense.

Mayweather deserves the trainer of the year award served up on a platter at the post-fight presser if inside of three months, he turns Hatton into the complete fighter you seem to think he already is.

Doesn't sound as confident as he did for the De La Hoya fight, I think he's concerned about Pac's dedication now he's an international superstar egomaniac. He also knows Hatton is much closer to his prime than De La Hoya was.

Can't ****in' wait for this fight!
