Haye tried the old Ali/Clay intimidation act. He thought he would overwhelm and psyche out Wladimir by showing him his exorbitant self confidence, which was an impressive facade. Haye got in his face, he confronted and challenged him. He talked the talk as well as anyone could. Haye wanted to see a sign of weakness, a blink, a stutter, a hesitation. But the problem is he saw no weakness. He only saw Klitschko become bigger and stronger and meaner before his very eyes. Haye's carefully laid plans have gone terribly awry, now he is the one blinking, hesitating and showing weakness.
Try 3-4 offers. Enough is enough. Haye is showing its all about the $ not "I want to fight the best".
That's the simple easy lazy, go with the flow conclusion Jinx, but this matter is a lot more complicated than that. Stick with us, you'll see the light soon!
When have you ever heard of Wlad not being fair with an offer besides this? They make plenty of money. They don't need to try to screw anyone over. Wlad probably made at least $25 million last year in fights alone. Ibragimov $5 million, Thompson $12 million, and I'm sure he at least made $8 million against Rahman in Germany.
nothing complicated about it, Haye wants more money than what is being put on the table, and i bet Wlad's team ain't putting up the 'right' numbers if you know what i mean....
Why the **** would Haye go through all this trouble then chicken out of the fight? It's all hype people and the fight is on! Keep dreaming that Haye is trying to get out of a fight with Wlad if you want though. Keep believing that he's afraid of the most petrified Heavywiehgt champion in history if you like.
I hope thats true. Haye wants this fight.Thats a fact so it seems strange that he would be unreasonable with purse demands when he knows that could potentially scupper the fight. He has come in the press and said he fears that this fight may not happen but didn't state a clear reason.Doesn't add up in my mind.I just hope it gets signed I'm pumped for this fight already:yep
Its not about chickening out. I myself would never say that. I think that Haye has a price in his head that may just be out of reach. Just because he wants a certain number doesnt mean K2 must pay it. REMEMBER...Haye is the challenger. If he is asking for to much, it might not make financial sence for K2..cant blame them...thats just good business
It's hatton vs Pac all over again. They've got plenty of time to milk this and make sure that both fighter's are getting paid as much as possible too. Hey and if one of the fighter's is mroe afraid of the other when the bell ring's, that fighter will be Wlad. We've seen Wlad fight afraid, all wide eye'd and **** enough times already. We've seen that look in his eyes and the boring, safety first approach that stink's the mother ****ing house out more than once. :tired Haye don't fight afraid though! When have you ever seen David Haye fight like a puss? How many times have you seen Wlad scarred to let his hand's go? :yep
The Russman will have no breakdown :nono I've been watching boxing since the early 70's and I've pretty much seen it all. That's part of what makes boxing a great sport. Anything is possible and regardless of all the training & those that believe & support you, ultimately you go into the ring alone.
You'll have heard that in the run up to the Povetkin fight, and that is for IBF mandatory fights only. For WBC fights I beleive it's 70/30. For voluntary fights it's get what you can.
