Oh well, this is one of the fights we weren't gettin in the UK so i'm not that disappointed...luckily it was a heavily stacked card anyway so you still have two well matched fights and Angulo shouldn't disappoint whoever he ends up fighting

Unfortunately, that's probably what's sticking in Ricardo's head...he thinks based on precedent he can stall negotiations until the 11th hour...what he's not realizing is that there are piles of cash to spare lying around when Oscar's name is involved...whereas this fight, as much as it titillates diehards, does not exactly promise to be a windfall.

You better hope someone says Brickhaus three times now. Because unless someone says Brickhaus three times, you won't be able to post.

Nobody say Brickhaus three times. :deal

Yeah, but with Oscar he did it at the last presser and fought on for the same money.

I like Mayorga, but there should be a severe penalty for trying such negotiation tactics after already agreeing to one amount. Year-long suspension, imo. It sends a terrible message if anyone is allowed to pull this sort of nonsense.

This would have been a good fight for Angulo - let's see who HBO approves now.

Mayorga looks like the 'bad guy' for this....but we are only hearing one side of the story.
I keep thinking back to the countless other fighters who have claimed to be screwed by King and I for one, would like to hear Mayorga's side of the story before passing judgment.
