Lopez was alao nowhere near the top of the P4P charts when he retired and I'm a huge Lopez fan. Not to mention he had a draw.

He'll come back to make a couple more big money paydays while he can. They always do. (Lewis being the exception)

    Count on it.

Where exactly in my post did I intimate that I thought Lopez was at the top of the p4p charts when he retired? Where exactly in my post did I intimate that Lopez had a perfect O record? Answer to both: nowhere. Like I said, Lopez retired undefeated after a long and successful career, like both Mayweather and Calzaghe.

Heck no. I don't feel this guy needs to start a thread like this. For what? Calzaghe is a ATG anyone who says otherwise is a foolish.

Yes I know the division is young, and no, it is no more so a stepping stone than 154lbs is for 160lbs etc.

He beat as good a version of Hopkins as there has ever been (ask Pavlik) and when he faced Jones he (Calzaghe) himself was shot to bits so any claims over Jones being shot are null and void. JC would have tanned that ass in his prime no problem. We are talking about the greatest most well rounded FIGHTER-BOXER in middleweight history.

While it is redundant to have eighteen threads per topic (honestly once the first Calzaghe retirement related thread was made, the subsequent handful of thread starters ought to have checked the first two pages to make sure someone hadn't already covered the topic...same process that should be followed for every major event/fight/interview etc....in a perfect world anyway....alas :verysad), he technically said that haters were devastated and you protested "well I'm not devastated" as though to disprove him...

ahh, nevermind. Just ignore me. :yep

Let me revise for the dull-minded: One of the greatest across the middleweights (definitely the greatest super middleweight)
