Did Winky rest? Or, did Winky rust? Winky with 3/4 of a tank of gas wins a clear UD over Wiliams. That's what I am hoping for, because a Winky win does more for the division than a Williams win. A Winky win would inevitably lead to Pavlik/Wright, and that is a fight Team Pavlik and many fans have been waiting YEARS to see. If Paul wins most people will just claim that he beat a shot fighter.

You ignored my point entirely. I already made mention of the fact Paul overwhelmed him in the rematch, but he never proved he could handle that style, boxing-wise. Besides, Quintana is ****. He was never a world beater at 147, and yet, he dominated Williams in that first encounter. I stand by my point--he most certainly never proved he could handle "any style" let alone WINKY'S style. Paul is gonna get ****ed up.

He got ****ed up by the very limited, very ordinary, and utterly mediocre QUINTANA! If Winky is just 50% of what he once was, he will be TWICE as good as the version of Quintana who already outclassed the grossly overrated Williams. Deal with it. :smoke

You're using the trianle theory which holds no weight...Styles makes fights...Winky and Quintan are two different figthers....Quintana is more elusive were as Winky walks with a high guard up...You keep bringing up the first fight like Williams is the same fighter. Williams has shown improvements believe or not...Plus Winky has been inactive so ho do you know he going to be a shell of his older days? I'm picking Winky too . . . but the Winkster giving PW a schooling is a over statement at this point. We never know Winky's mental and physical state at this time . . . he is coming in from a year and a half vacation.
winky was a great fighter, but he hasn't been fighting. He took a beating in the Taylor and the Hopkins fight. After a long career, I don't know how much he has left. It's unfortunate how his career has gone, but that just goes to bad management. I applaud Williams for his willingness to fight anybody. His legend, and resume, keeps growing. A win here will solidify his name as one of the top fighter in the game. I think he will outwork Winky.
prime winky beats williams at 154. We'll see how winky looks after the long long layoff. It'll most likely be a close fight and possibly controversial.
F. He beat taylor and hopkins loss was close and grimey. Winky has never really taken a bad beating...ever.
I don't really know how much going up to 160 can help Williams, but I just can't see how someone with his sloppy defense beat someone like Winky.
