How he's rated does not impact his chances.

...Which is a very viable option.

Hatton is certainly not the favorite in my view, but he will put up a damn good fight and he has a chance to win. 140 pounds is his domain and Hatton is far more affective then a shell of Oscar.

Wow some of you are overrating Hattons power.. either that or underrating Pacmans will to win and his chin.. Pacquiao isnt the kind of fighter who will fold mentally after being hit.. hes been hit before its not anything new to him..

i also think that alot of boxing fans out there are being slightly blinded by mannys win over oscar. You cannot deny that pacquiao looked good against oscar.you would have to be a complete and utter fool to say otherwise. but what we can say for a true fact is that david diaz looked better than oscar. Although its unfair to take credit away from pacquiao, im gonna say the same as a person i hate, max kellerman. when hatton beat castillo, kellerman was very quick to take away the credit of hattons performance. well by the same token i say that the pacmans win was good over oscar, but not great because of oscar and some credit should be taken away. Yes i am a massive hatton fan, and rightfully so, seen as tho i live 2 seconds away and he is just like any normal person around here (unlike any other famous people in the world, ANYWHERE) but im also a boxing fan and love watching the pacman. I think the pacmans fight against marquez on march 15 should have been fight of the year without question!

What I mean is Hatton is better then a lot of people think. So all those that give him no chance, will be in for a shock when they see he does have a chance.

Jesus, man, that's not too hard to understand.

Fully agree, thIS invincible status afforded to Pac from 135-140 is ridiculous IMO. Pac won't have felt the power Hatton can deliver and thats a fact, the big question is whether Hatton can effectively get close enough without taking too many shots, and I believe he can. He is brilliant at cutting off the ring.

He cut PBF off without little trouble, he just didn' expect PBF to have him on the inside aswell (or Cortez would be a twat :yep)

I cant believe some of you are comparing Paulie to Manny lol. Hatton looked good vs Paulie but so did Cotto and so did Ngoudjo.. I think its obvious that Paulie cant bust an egg. What hatton did to paulie he wont do to Manny.

I agree to an extent, as a hatton fan, i do think people over rate hattons power. But i also think that its probably not pacquiaos chin that matters, its more a case of if he can handle the body shots in my opinion. And if hatton does get success to the body then thats gonna slow the pacman down. Its all if's, but's and maybe's but what a fight we have in store! hopefully!

Very true. i agree 100%. but i seen marquez land a left hook to the body that reaaly hurt manny. Manny still feels the pain if hatton hits hard.
