Why so much venom for Margarito but not for Tito?

    A lot of people are mad at Margarito and his training staff for trying to cheat, calling him a fraud, saying he should be banned for life.... but I didn't see the same kind of public outcry when Hopkins and Richardson exposed Tito's loaded gloves before their fight. In fact, someone made a thread a couple of weeks ago about how Tito's power may be overrated since he didn't seem to have the same snap on his punches after having his wraps exposed in the Hopkins fight, and everyone who responded in the thread actually ridiculed the thread starter for even questioning Tito's punching power: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=116210&page=19

    Today, if we ask the question "Who is hardest-hitting welterweight of all time", we'll still get a lot of Tito responses. I think the question of whether his power is overrated is a valid question. I know Tito was a beloved icon in Puerto Rico and on this board too, but the guy seems to have gotten a pass here, while Margarito is being ripped to shreds by everyone.

    Margo's fans talked him up like he was god when anyone who knew boxing could see he was flawed and limited. Tito was light years ahead of Margo in terms of skill. Tito's hands were illegally wrapped no foreign substance found while Margo had a foreign substance in his big difference.

    Man do your homework first. Tito & Margo are two diffrent issues. Tito had to rewrap bacause he had extra gauze and tape around his knuckles. Oscar has to rewrap for the same reason against PACMAN as many other fighters have. Tito was never fined or suspeneded beacuse he did nothing illegal.

    Margo got caught with and illegal object (Plaster) in his wraps.

    I can totally believe the Tito charges;
    He never seemed THAT good to me,and for years i was baffled by his success.The gloves thing makes perfect sense to me,and explains(and vindicates?)Oscar's fleeing in the last 3 rounds.

    It's only reeally bad from the Floyd lovers (Pimp C, Fitzgerald, etc), you see, they couldnt wait for Margarito to look bad somehow, now that this happened, their prayers have been answered. It all stems from Margarito making Floyd look like a *****, really

    Venom for Margarito becuase Margarito scared the career out of Floyd, he made Floyd retire.

    Yes,but most of the venom comes from his fans on here,so its a natural connection,not a detached,spurious one.
