Alfredo Escalera lost to AK. He gassed out in 2 rounds, and got stopp in the 5th. After the fight he's like; I think my dad's gonna be mad at me for my conditioning. NO ****!

I think Escalera has some talent, its to bad he gassed so quickly. I don't see anyone beating Ross.

    I'm hoping for Hino-Ross.

These guys are young enough and have enough room to grow that they could actually make some noise with the momentum of sweeping the show. Winning the tournament would probably be the swansong for Hoye, he's not going to be a serious contender for a Cruiserweight belt.

Just occured to me - Ding and Cora were the two favored to walk away with this. People literally stated with certainty when the show's cast was announced that one or both of these two would be in the finals (both if seeded in separate brackets, one if they met in earlier rounds).

Not only are they both out of the competition, they were both blasted from it (in different manners, but both were absolutely owned). Goes to show how much fans value name recognition and assume that unknown quantities are bums...that smug majority must be feeling pretty stupid right about now. Sad for Wilson and Felix, as their embarrassing defeats pretty much strangle any contention hopes they may have been clinging to; but IMO the good to come out of this show - illuminating the previously unheralded Hino and Ross for the boxing and general public - far outweighs the bad endings for their popular victims (and the decision to revert to edited fights; and the snoozefest that was the first several episodes).

Your right and I was one of them, I expected more from Cora for sure. Ding is someone who I would love to see do well and so I was hoping for the guy, but 5 rounders are all wrong for him and his style. I also had high hope for Ross, but didn't expect him to be knocking guys out left right and center.

I thought it was between Ding and Felix Cora. This is the first time I was wrong. Picked Mora, picked Grady Brewer, and in season 3 I hedged my bet by saying Solimon or Bika.

For next week, I'm going with Hino TKO4 Elam, and Godfrey UD5 Hoye in an upset.

They have a doubleheader next week right?
I'm going for Hino UD and Hoye UD.
Btw I'm really impressed with Laleye so far,the most entertaining fighter on the show.

In the ring or on the reality tv end?

Yeah the next two weeks are double headers.

I agree, but a Hoye KO is a real possibility if Godfrey isn't in fighting shape and gasses out.

Godfrey is bigger than anything Hoye has seen but he most likely hasn't trained at all since losing with Cora and looked horrible in sparing when he came back.Hoye seems to have decent stamina,Godfrey the same,I think a UD is good. We''ll see.

He also seemed very self conscious of and frustrated with how crappy he looked when he came back. Did they say how long there was supposed to be between the end of last week's episode and the taping of next week's doubleheader? The outcome could hinge (well, have hinged) on whether he had adequate time to whip himself into shape...

I'm going under the assumption that the fights are only a few days apart. Not enough time to get into shape IMO.

No,normally he couldn't hve any time,it's like 5-6 days between fights. If there were more time they would have left Coyne to heal.
