I think we're witnessing the first signs of the rumoured financial problems Setanta have been suffering. Very unlikely this will have a positive impact on their boxing coverage.
I agree to an extent but if the people that only signed up for the football cancel their subscriptions it will, inevitably, have a further detrimental effect on the boxing coverage.
It's another example of the EU meddling way beyond rational reasoning. Apparently one company having a monopoly over premiership rights is unconstitutional. How the way British people watch football affects the rest of Europe I don't know.
i thought setanta got the same rights as before. :huh the saturday evening games. have they lost out on the odd monday night game for the next package then? disappointed that sky got the lion's share again. despite the fact i'm a subscriber. :roll:
setanta have not lost the rights. sky can only show 4 packages, who has the other 2? the bidding is not due for months.
