Is Joe Calzaghe a H.O.F fighter...and is Cal a legend, an ATG, or great fighter?

So whats your excuse if Calz stayed in his hometown for years.

 

D, we had this talk before. You are not a *******. Jan and Dinamita are. I speak to you with respect about how I truly feel about PAc. I do not respect those two lol. That's the difference

 

Pac fans excuses:

1 = Pac was weight drained, he was too hungry when he took that fight, he only ate once a day while training for that fight.

2 = He was young at the time.

3 = He was having a hard time making that weight.

4 = He took that fight on only 2 weeks notice.

5 = He was low blowed in both fights.

 

just a question mate, do you think calz is better than pac because he has "0"?

I give him more credit than many because of the Hopkins win. People who try to say that Hopkins was past it seem to forget that the hard fought loss for Hopkins came between the great wins against Tarver and Pavlik. In addition, Calzaghe has had how many hand injuries (?) kind of evening things up in terms of time and tide.

Calzaghe has beaten something like 8 other titleist, with wins over Eubank, Brewer, Lacy and Kessler also being very noteworthy. Lacy was never the same after Calzahge's commanding performance.

The Jones fight was just a nice name on the record, really.

And the "0" is unique achievement. Not saying that it makes him better than guys who fought better competition and lost, just that it is a unique and noteworthy acheivement to have never had an off night.

This does not make me a hugger- I agree with the the detractors that there were great fights to be made that didn't happen, and it hurts his legacy a little.

HOF- Lock.

ATG- on the mid to low end. He is somewhere in the top 70-150, which, given 120 years of Queensbury rules boxing, is a remarkable achievement.

Legend- of sorts. What a legend is is harder to define. He is definately a legend in terms of what he has meant to the Welsh people and the people of the British isles.

Much respect to Calzaghe. He has a unique acheivement that he and his fans can be proud of.

No, I believe that if pfp they were the same size, Cal has too many intangibles that would be too much for PAc. The chin being the biggest advantage for Cal of them all.

i'm not really into "same size" thing. pac will lose some attributes when he goes up to calz weight and so is calz, when he goes down in pac's weight.
