Anyone staying up for Darchinyan-Arce?

I'm behind Darchinyan, I like the kid.

 

Yeah I am staying up.

As some of you may know I came under some scrutiny for saying the super flyweight did not interest me, but now I get the chance to see it live and hopefully it will convince me to start having more interest in the division, because it seems like it has a lot of talent.

 

If any fight is going to get you into the little men, this should be it.

I've got a feeling Darch may have a few storms to ride out in this fight. Arce is tough as hell and does not go down easily and without a fight. The odds could look unfair going into this fight.

 

I reckon there'll be a fair amount of cash going on Arce because, as you say, the odds are unfair. I fancy Vic but Jorge will come to fight and has a chance. Both look in great shape and if you can't be up for the undisputed championship of the world you never will be.

They are throwing that kid in deep in this one.

 

Everyone has to stay up for this clash .. Ive been looking forward to this one far more than any Calzaghe night, Haye night or Hatton night apart from Hatton v The Big Guns - Mayweather/Tzsyu ..... This is proper boxing, very little hype, very little bull**** but 2 outstanding warriors who will 'Truly' give they're all tonight. It should have skill, heart, blood and guts .. In these divisions you get your moneys worth and are seldom disappointed, this will be a ******* and my money's on Darchinyan to stop Arce between rds 8 - 10 ....

Respect to Calzaghe, Hatton, Haye and our other guys but far too much attention is paid to nationalism in boxing and other sports .. I judge a fighter on how good i think he is, whether he's from Britain, Mexico or America doesnt matter to me one bit, its all about the individual fighter .. Stoking up the nationalism in boxing is a total manipulation of the public so that casual fans will fork out £14.99 to see Amir Khan and sing they're football chants. That kind of **** has made Frank Warren a Very Rich man.
When Hatton fought Mayweather and when Bruno fought Tyson the 2nd time, people in Britain were convinced they could actually win when in fact it was a near impossibility .. Opinion based on the nationality of a fighter is always ridiculous because its a 'hope' based theory..

Anyway get on Darchinyan to stop Arce within 10, but Arce is a warrior ..

 

Why was that word blocked out with a ******** ? That line was 'this will be a *******' how could that be offensive to anybody ?? Eastside doesnt recognise 'Cracking Fight' ??
