Drummond has very poor basics, but is managing to keep the distance with his footwork (but he's circling AWAY from the damaged eye) and on occasion even push Chagaev back. Chagaev doesn't seem to be handling being cut well at all, his confidence seems low considering whats in front of him. It looks like the cut is going to stop the fight at some point.

They've just gone to the cards at the start of round 7, this could be close....

58-56 sounds reasonable if you are looking for which fighter was coming forward. I'm not sure if they took a point for the cut as well (stupid rule, its either accidental or its not).

 

Nah, that rule is exclusive to the WBC (the WBA has the three knockdown rule as its "trademark")

khotelnik could be something special i havent watched the fight but every 1 who has says it was a close 1, after seeing him against rees and didnt think he'd hold on to that wba strap for too long he may become a very good contender at 140

 

glad chagaev is back with a win,now he can destroy that gorilla valuev,the cut was awful,but i like the rule of going to the scorecards after a cut stoppage,should be like that everywhere insted of boxers losing coz of a cut,when on points they where winning,(truscott simpson)when trussy was ahed
