Sugar Ray Leonard- "Joe was a special kind of fighter."

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Guy, Feb 7, 2009.

  1. No. ppl don't rate him as an ATG because his Resume is weak as hell..... And to defend the Yanks here. Most give Mayweather **** for missing a couple of fighters and his Record is twice that of's Joe's, where does that leave your Argument...

:patsch The guy was faking low blows and got a long unfair rest. I can't respect that.

I know enough about boxing to keep my bum ass out of the ring and in my arm chair where i'm safe and pain free!

  4. No because if he was American... I doubt he would have got away with defending his WBO belt for 9 years against the utter tripe he fought.... The best name out of these years id Reid for gods sake

On the face of it 46-0 sounds good... but when you lok closer it doesn't stand up to scrutiny

Floyd's resume is far superior to Joe's, even the haterest of Floyd haters will say that.

  14. Look I'm not a "Hater" of any boxer.... but I'm a realist, and I look at things and give my own opinion. And I rate Joe as a HOF boxer and 5-7 top British fighter.... But he is no top ATG imo.

Yes he was an Elite fighter
