Im actually a pretty good poster here, if you ignore my haters. Always have been. & I aint being arrogant, its just that my non-british viewpoint upsets the majority of posters here to the point where they will try to put a negative spin on almost anything I say, but hey!

    I dont mind, its alright.

fair point mate, to be fair, im not a boxing historian and a lot of you guys on here probably know more about boxing than me, Baby Jake Matlala? he held that version and dont think he was promoted by warren, but think it was later in his career?

    Should be a good show!

Kris Carslaw is fighting as well is he not? Looks a good prospect.

I'll get my tickets off Colin Bellshaw down the Renfrewshire ABC.

Please don't do it Willie. I would much prefer to see you in a scrap with another decently ranked Brit and for no belt. The WBU taints our sport. I'd much prefer to see you fight for the Southern Area or English title. Same for the undercard, try and get them in good old domestic fights for domestic titles. None of this WBU ****.

The WBU is single handily ruining boxing in Britain. Numerous fights aren't being made cos fighters are kept apart cos one of them holds a WBU title and doesn't fight all the good domestic bouts.

What I am saying probably won't change a thing but I just hope that Limond takes every comment aboard and that it will affect his future decisions. I don't believe any true boxing fan can condone fighting for something like the WBU. I understand a fighter thinks he can get paid better, better exposure etc but I personally disagree. I'd much prefer to see fighters like Henry Cooper who would fight in domestic bouts and every now and again venture. I'd much rather see that then Gary Lockett being built up with the WBU so he could beaten up on the world stage.

So much more to say but I'm thinking out loud with no structure to what I'm saying. Main point of my writing is - don't fight for the WBU, keep it traditional.

True. We need the people at Sky and Setanta to take charge with such a thing. Sky said they were doing the same thing. They weren't buying fights unless it was for the major and they'll make exceptions i.e. big fights for the IBO (Tarver v Hopkins)

i reckon he wont do featherweight again, im just glad to see him back in the gym looking good and a bit of routine back in his life, i didnt ask him about his licence and he never said, and i think if he does get his licence back there will be big fights for him

I've not got a problem with them showing the fight if it's a good match up, just don't mention the bauble on the line. Simply refer to the fight as a 12 round match up between contenders like The Ring would do.

Boxing has changed since those days, now there should be just 1 champion at each weight but TV has changed all that they pull the strings now and how many different TV companys you got so you need more belts, and i cant fight for the English or a southern area title, iv fought and won these kinda titles before, i won the Celtic belt against Kevin Ohara, and what did it do for me? nothing i had to relinquish it and didnt get to defend it, the same with the EU belt, only i had 1 defence but again had to give it up.

Dunky, this might come as a shock to you but you're ****ing BRITISH. Like it or not that fact won't change. On May 1st 1707, Queen Anne declared England and Scotland should be known as "Great Britain".

The reason for my off-topic post is I'm sick of hearing your ignorant non-British ****. Either say you're Scottish or **** off to India. You make us all sound like half-wits.
