Gray - " for those of you out there watching Vic Darchinyan for the first time, you will see that he reminds you of Prince Naseem"

WTF ? - other than being unorthodox i don't see any similarities at all.

Apart from the fact that Naz hit harder, was harder to hit, had a better chin and was much quicker.

Naz wasn't that quick, or that hard to hit.

When Naz got schooled by MAB he just faded away. When Vic got schooled by Donaire he learned from his loss and seems to have gotten better.

Only comparison in relation to boxing was the stance, and how they relied on power. But Vic is growing out of that mode, not completely though. Naz and hector camacho is a better comparison.

I truly believe that the only fighters who can be compared to Naz in terms of raw ability in the last 50 years are Ali and Roy Jones. Now, I am NOT saying that Naz ranks alongside them in terms of achievement, only that he had athletic gifts that come basically once or twice in a generation.

What they have in their mentality and their heart, is a different thing... but in terms of physical gifts Naseem Hamed was an outlier, a genuine prodigy.
