How do you English and Scottish feel that a Welsh fighter is Britains best?

me ,im english,just as a scotsmans scottish,a frenchmans french,ect ect.
don't see why its seen as racist to think this way.
im proud of my heritige,just like dunky is of scotland.
but i also love boxers and people from other places,and when i see something shite wot is english,i will say so,like amir khan's chin,shitest thing ive ever seen.
as for JC ,i think there are better british boxers than him,he is up there,but not the best,lennox lewis is way above him

I am English not British. The only time I support a 'Brit' is when the Olympics are on.

It doesn't matter a **** where someone is from, if they are not bullshitters and I like thier boxing style I will root for them.

As far as Calzaghe is concerned, he is a complete arsehole and his father is even worse. I still wanted him to beat Hopkins because Hopkins has a very very negative boxing style and he came out with all that 'white man' bollocks. Just imagine if JC had said "I will never let a black man beat me"!!!!

If a welsh/scottish sportsman is Any good the english embrace them as "Brits" if they are shite they are just jocks or taffs.......I like a few english fighters but consider myself Welsh not British.
The whole issue of "British" makes me laugh anyway as the real brits are the Scotch & Welsh & a few down in Kernow (Cornwall)......We were pushed west & north by the saxons & poor old Lloegyr fell into the hands of the germans....errr sorry I mean the english. This is a celtic country but alas the "Sais" think its theres...!!!!!!

Well said that man. I got no problem with englanders who are proud to be english(although theres not many of you left)

Its just all this BRITISH bull**** that grinds my gears,abroad Britain is basically seen as England. & it dilutes my national identity.

Thats why I HATE IT. Not to mention english made programmes that say "heres the best of British folks, the top 10 British this or that" & its always english dominated, with an englander taking the no1 spot EVERY time. England get the best deal out of that horrible Great Britain monicker. The rest of us are simply restrained by it.

Now I dont have a problem with english loving their own, but to put it under an umbrella of Britain & proclaim yourselves better than us(celtic nations) at everything... its just constantly gets on my goat.

I mean, being 'british' means I should see that **** Robbie Williams & think "hey, me & him are just the same" Aye right! I got my own identity, I aint no brit. & i am sure proud welsh & englanders feel the same about this brit nonsense. We all got our own ways, we all got our own history. & to label me as British??? its the ultimate insult, cos to me there is no such thing as British.

Let Scotland be Scotland, England be England, Wales be Wales etc. Its just that British bull****... It has to go.
