Makes no odds to me whether pavliks green orange or blue ...hes a top fighter ...very exciting to watch ... his combinations and power in his hands are awesome - you gotta watch the accuracy of this guy superb !

i like dawson too but pavliks got something the public like - hes honest in his opinions and seems a genuine good guy ...

i used to be a huge fan of Chris Eubank - not overly popular but the guy was great to watch a tremendous talent and was great for the sport !

Yeah but you're in the UK mate. And I don't think we get it to be honest. It's been a long time now since racial **** like that had a place in British sport. If there's one thing I've learnt from reading this board is that that is not necessarily true in the US (either sports or society as a whole). That racial stuff still does resonate.

Not an influence in the actual case in discussion though, I don't think.

 

Pavlik has won some high profile fights, Dawson hasn't yet.

 

I agree Cobbler we in the UK have gone along way to getting rid of the racial sh**te ... to be honest I love boxing and watching a good boxer whether it be Hagler beating McGuigan or Pavlik destroying taylor ... who cares if ones black and ones white ...

all i care about is the boxers in question ... its a sport not a racial punch up ! ... we have a guy over here called Kell Brook and hes a man to watch believe me ... hes in a tough division weleterweigh but hes goign all the way ! ....
