http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=18718&more=1 Damn, them's fighting words if I ever heard them. I love how he completely disrespects Joe Calzaghe in essentially every way, and then says "I respect Joe Calzaghe". Hillarious. I usually find shittalking from a guy without any real notable wins to be annoying, but when there's the possibility of him luring Calzaghe out of retirement with some serious insults (of course that's extremely unlikely, and I feel that Calzaghe would beat the living daylights out of him), it's very interesting. I have to say that he is definitely putting Jermain Taylor in his place and calling him out very effectively. I wish some more of this stuff happened in boxing, where there was animosity prefight that was resolved in the boxing ring. People tend to automatically disrespect fighters that do this, but frankly I'd rather have this than the standard response to "So who do you wanna fight?": "You're gonna have to ask my management. I don't deal with that stuff." It gets tedious.
I like Froch, he is refreshingly honest. He isn't like Mayweather, talking smack about everyone, he merely says what a lot of other people think. Plenty of people felt Hopkins beat Calzaghe - so he said that he did Plenty of people think Audley is a joke - so does Froch, publicly
Yep, he can talk it. I had said a couple times recently, I had read and have an interview of him from UK's Boxing Monthly Magazine. I couldn't help but to like the guy after reading his story and comments. BUT, I have to admit I'm big JT fan. Hopefully this gets signed.
Froch isnt fit to lace Calzaghe's gloves. He needs to stfu in case JC does come back because JC will ****ing destroy the gobshite.
A lot of it isn't trash though. Most of it is true. I felt Hopkins beat Calzaghe I felt (and feel) Audley Harrison is a joke I didn't know Khan was chinny until after about ten fights, Froch did + countless others. I much prefer that to someone like Junior Witter, who has accused Ricky Hatton, Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto and plenty of others of ducking him.
Froch is a pissant. He has been truly disrespectful of calzaghe for years now and I hope someone takes him out. I for one will never pay for a pay per view to see this ****. Hopefully he will get a beating and stop trying to live off others coat tails.
His remarks about Calzaghe have occasionally been out of order - but accusing him of staying in his backyard defending a mickeymouse title is hardly a crime. Don't forget Calzaghe has also fired a few verbals Froch's way as well. 'Why should I give him a payday?' - erm.... yeah like Froch is inferior to Bika or Manfredo atsch 'I don't like the guy' - erm.... so why not give him a beating then?
A guy with Froch's skills is taking a huge risk by opening his mouth as much as he does, because odds are someone is going to shut it for him one day (see: Edison Miranda). Hopefully Taylor does us all the favor.
Time and a place for comments though, not when your invited on a show to talk about calzaghe's retirement then you trash him and talk about your own upcoming fight  Its like when he had the tv camera's with him on the build up to a fight on Itv he phones up Joe and says "so joe when are we going to have a fight then?" calzaghe didnt even know the camera's were rolling and was quite restrained and respectful too him. Desperate man, deperate measures. The manfredo fight served a purpose he had good exposure in the U.S. unlike 'carl who?'
Froch can talk all this **** he wants to. That's not going to change the fact that the luckiest day of his life was the day Calzaghe decided to ignore his challenges. And by the way, for the few who may not know, I'm the biggest Slappy Joe hater on ESB.
Froch needs to understand that when you publically bury one of the most popular fighters in the country (whilst exhibiting as little class as possible), on the day he retires, you will potentially lose a lot of support, and therefore money. Brainiac.
