...only had a fiver on me so put it on at 7/2 for a Mosley win...squids in for this lad..(erm, well every penny counts!?)
Get ur cash on Marcos Maidana 2/1 to beat Kotelnik...this guy has quality written all over him Also 11/8 Kendall Holt to prove how average Tim Bradley is .....
Courtesy of William Hill Rendall Munroe 2/5 Draw 20/1 Kiko Martinez 7/4 Juan Manuel Marquez 1/2 Draw 20/1 Juan Diaz 6/4 Jamie Moore 1/9 Draw 25/1 Michele Piccirillo 5/1 Marco Antonio Barrera 8/11 Draw 20/1 Amir Khan Evs Ryan Rhodes 8/11 Draw 20/1 Anthony Small Evs A few interesting ones there - the one that really stands out to me is the generosity on Ryan Rhodes - 8/11 to beat a guy without a single win over a decent opponent....... Moore is slightly over-priced I'd say, untouchable at 1/9..... Munroe isn't good value either at 2/5, though I favour him strongly.
Munroe Diaz Moore Rhodes Multiplier :good Yes, Rhodes is the best money bet there by far. Worth sticking a couple hundred on.
I fancy Marquez pretty strongly based on styles, but Diaz is certainly a very live dog in this contest, perhaps 6/4 is a bit generous.
Interesting underdog bets - Diaz certainly, Martinez kinda. Munroe has been poor lately, the Spaniard knows what he's up against this time, will be ultra-motivated, whereas Rendall could suffer from rematch syndrome. Worth a moments thought. Wouldn't touch Khan-MAB with a barge pole. I would go for the multiplier and use Rhodes as a very generous insurance policy.
I wouldn't bother putting Moore on though. Don't get me wrong I expect him to win, but 1/9 is barely worth bothering! Rhodes is extremely generous..... I think Pac is 8/15. Pavlik is 1/8, Cotto 1/20.
I read somewhere that the odds of Munroe being knocked down in the 1st round are 20/1 - worth a cheeky punt me thinks.
Boxing is the best betting sport. I paid off a sizeable chunk of Uni debt mostly on boxing, and the odd bit of darts and horses. Calzaghe over Lacy, Calzaghe over Kessler, Casamayor over Katsidis are the last ones I put serious sums on.
There aren't that many fights to bet on..... I tend to do OK on BoxPicks, but on the prediction leagues my form has been less than stellar. Don't want to be putting £50 on an odds-on boxer and end up losing Might have to but that on Rhodes though, 8/11 is extraordinary.
Must have hurt to bet against Kessler, or were you not that big of a fan of his beforehand, also I guess its a win-win situation.
