cruiserweight limit should be back were it started 190 lb welter to lightheavy is allmost the same distance as lightheavy to cruiser its ****ing ridiculous think of all the guys who are naturally 195 or so there to small for cruiser and to big for lightheavy. i mean its not that easy to loose 20 lb and be at your physical best especially if your a very tall guy so think of all the talent out there that has no place to go to be considered a treat its just wasting away in limbo
Require belt holders of the alphabet titles to be mandatory challengers for the other alphabet titles to create unified champs in every division..... Bring back collegiate boxing here in the states to boost US popularity.... Oh, and boxing isn't dead, but it may be the current best kept secret of the sporting world
Perhaps every pound should be its own weight class and every boxer should become their own promoter plus each one could claim a championship belt with all fights being a title match. Okay boxing IS dead.
There’s no getting rid of the alphabet bodies, there here to stay whether we like it or not. But as fans, we can help by putting more emphasis on unification fights. This way even casual fans will know who the best in the division is, and the sanctioning bodies will still get their $’s. Boxing Rules!

So it seems their at least trying.Having them run weekend preview shows on CBS i think would really help.
