lol...Is this guy real or was he making a joke. Jones whips Joe really good. Might even stop him.

got to go with joe by scores of 115-113 all the way around. both were shells of there former sleves in the actuall fights anyone thinking that was close to a prime JOE C is off his or her rocker. joe takes this one IMHO

actually yes he could but i wouldn't put money on it in reality jones foot movement and reflexes would trouble jones as would calzaghes troble jones it would be a close battle but joe would take it in the latter rounds .

Prime Jones was untouchable. No way would Joe do anything to Roy that would result in him losing a decision. Roy was just too fast, too strong amd too smart. Joe was a good fighter in his prime, but not close to what Roy was.

have you seen the destruction a prime young Joe does at 29 . look at all of joes fights he was hardly a slapper. .

and have you seen a fight of joes before the lacy fight.

jones was a great figther the greater fighter of the 2 as far as achievment is concerend but head to head joe has the style to beat jones .

when your talking prime for prime you have to make sure you look at both fighters .

now if were talking the joe that batter royin nov against a prime rjj of course joe loses he wopuld probably be stopped in 8 but that not a prime joe.

I watched plenty of Joe fights. I had him beating Lacy before the fight was made. I knew he was too much for him. Same as the Kessler fight. Joe was too fast for him. Thats the one thing that Joe had over all his opponents. But against a prime Roy he would had been facing someone who was faster and stronger then himself. Roy was just a better version of prime Joe.

Jones for me. Although the speed of Calzaghe could compare with Jones i don't believe he had the same power. A prime (fit) Jones would have been able to pressure and hurt Calzaghe but not without talking some punishment in the process. Calzaghe would have pushed him hard even in their primes.
I don't believe Jones should have fought Joe last year, his skills had clearly diminished and he was simply tarnshing his record.
