Bazooka Called Me Out For Making Paul Williams Threads and I Realized I Haven't Made A Paul Williams Thread for Like 1-2 months....

    SO

    I Ask You....

Do You Think in the next 2-5 Years Paul Williams Can Climb The Elusive P4P Charts Into The 1-3 Position?

    Thoughts....

Of course.....he has all the talent, skills and phyical attributes to do so. However with all that said he has to preform...there have been many who held this kind of hand in their boxing careers and fell short. I expect Paul to come through though:yep

    Yes.

He showed enough intentsity in the Margarito fight that I can believe it of him. May take longer than 2 years though.

Where do you have him now?

I dont see why not. Pac will retire by then. Calzaghe/Hopkins will be gone. Hes got the talent to be up there. Just stay away from Cotto if he wants to stay up there

I think he's bound to be an ATG at 154. @160, its very possible, but he needs to work on his technique and D more with those MW bangerz

    I Voted Great Chance....

I Vote Great Chance For A Couple Reasons

    - PWill Has Tremendous Upside (learning potential)
    - His Already Existent Skill Level Is High
    - The Potential Fights He Could Make Have To be One Of The Best In Boxing IF NOT! The Very Best In Boxing (Winky Wright - Arthur Abraham - Kelly Pavlik - Felix Strum - Jermain Taylor - Chad Dawson - Vernon Forrest - Corey Spinks - Daniel Santos - James Kirkland - Alfredo Angulo - Sergei Dzinzurik - Joshua Clottey - Miguel Cotto - Shane Mosley - Antonio Margarito) JEEZUS!!! and im sure there are names ive left out

nobody in boxing has that many options to help themselves climb the p4p charts.....

as long as williams keeps improving his skill and steps it up in competition slowly but surely... i dont see anything that can hold him back from the top of the p4p charts

Meh. He needs to decide on a weight to fight at and it seems he is content on bouncing around between 147-160. If he keeps fighting the Andy Kolle's of the world than he'll never be regarded with much esteem.

Fighting Winky is a step in the right direction, but I think Winky beats him.

The only way Winky gets beat is to be outworked. PTP has the recipe.

Paul Williams is a nightmare for most fighters. I don't think he can be beat at 154 right now or at least not the favorite in every fight there. He has a great chance to be top 3.

PTP gets nothing but respect from me! He beat Margarito in a good fight @147. He stopped Verno, not just beat but stopped, at 154. Now he's set to match with Winky at 160. His resume is becoming amazing! If he beats Winky convincingly, WOW! Hopkins beat Winky at an uncomfortable weight for the Winkster. Same as how BHOP beat Pavlik. PTP is moving up from his last fight. P4P shiznit right there!!
