Really he won the tournament which is culminating in a LIVE broadcast of the finals match on February 25th at Foxwoods, for which tickets are now on sale? :think Interesting. :-((

Anyone planning on going to the finals? It's at Foxwoods on the 25th.

Tix are $60 face value, and of course Ticketbastard has a $12 "convenience" fee on top of that.

Hmm, yeah even from Boston, $75 plus travel expenses is looking a bit too steep. :think

When it was Season 3 in my backyard for like $30 (good seats too!) that was a different story...

I'm a little confused. Did I miss an episode of did Boxrec.com just "spoil" the final?

They already have the Feb. 25th card up with the match up of the "final".

The result of the semi-final fights are not up yet but it's easy to figure who won when you look at who's fighting who.

    D'oh...yeah, that's a spoiler alright. :verysad

The Contender finales for every season always feature eliminated contestants who didn't fight in the course of the show paired up on the undercard. Based on that line-up (and the Hino-Ross fight being listed as a four-star fight) my guess would be that my finals prediction was right (and Hoye and AK are fighting in the co-featured three-star runners-up match, having both made it to but lost in the semi-finals)...even though nobody's semi-final (or quarterfinal where applicable) results are listed.

Damn you boxrec! And damn you Maxime for not keeping it to yourself! :yep

Yeah those are the fight's on tonight's pre-recorded doubleheader.

Next week's episode will feature the winners squaring off in a doubleheader with Ross vs. Laleye. So either some unknowledgeable goon at boxrec presumed that Ross would beat Laleye, Hino would beat Elam, Hoye would beat Godfrey, and Hino would beat Hoye; or some knowledgeable dink privy to those results consciously spoiled it for everyone. :(

    Troy Ross..................................\ T. Ross
    .................................................................\
    Felix Cora................................../

    .............................................................................\

    Akinyemi AK Laleye...................\ A. Laleye
    ................................................................./
    Alfredo Escalera Jr.................... /

    .......................................................................................Series winner

    Deon Elam................................\
    .................................................................\
    Ehinomen "Hino" Ehikhamenor..../

    ............................................................................./

    Rico Hoye.................................\
    ................................................................./
    Joell Godfrey............................./

Like I said, I predicted Hino-Ross in the finals anyway, but some measure of suspense for the next two weeks would've been nice. :conf

I knew like 3 months ago who made the final.

    Boxrec.com just confirmed it. :yep
