    I stated the above earlier.

Awnser: Samuth Sithnarvepol v In-Kyu Hwang, IBF Minimumweight Title, August 29th, 1988, Bangkok, Thailand.

    Correct.

This could be any number of things for Tunney (how many fingers am I holding behind my back - I'll tell you when you guess the right number).

I'll take a swing and say first heavyweight champ to win title by anything less than a knockout.

Good Question, and well answered CHB.

I guess this makes Dempsey, the first H/W Champ to lose his title, via the points avenue. Hardly rocket-science!!..

Another fact remains about these two H/W champs... regarding title defences......

Take a look.. Tunney was the first to do what??

Not quite mate... take a look at the men Tunney defended his title against... and the order in which he defended the title... Thats the only clue mate.

I'm not sure but wasn't Tunney the first HW Champ to fly in a plane?
