Why doesn't Andrew wait till he heals, trains 3 months and rematches Austin in Poland for a final fight?

Good idea.Best way to go out. But: 1. We don't know whether Andrew's injury can heal good enough to ever step back into the ring 2. What incentive is there for Austin to have a rematch when now he's looking to move up? 3. What if Golota losses again, this time in his last fight on his home soil?

1.Most of any injury today can be healed, even at 41.
2.Austin will lose by the time this would be up.It's Ray Austin for **** sake.
    3.It's a winnable fight.Mollo was a harder fight.

I'm beginning to smell the scent of money here. Wait till Golota's shoulder heal. When would that be? Then wait for 3 months to train. I project that would be beyond May 17 and Brisback will just simply send me money thru Paypal. LOL!

It's a good move to appease Golota fans who have been living in the past. Classic forum is the best repository for this long running thread. Not because he is great but because they perceived him to be great, or almost great, could have-been great, etc.

Lol, I disagree with all of these points. Maybe 2 is okay, but I think you're selling Austin short. Yes, Austin has been inconsistent but still much better than Mollo. Austin belongs in the top 10, Mollo doesn't. Golota's camp knew full well that Austin would be a very tough opponent (Colona gave Austin a 50/50 chance) and he proved that in the very first round. Even without AG's injury, the round would still likely belong to Austin. A farewell rematch with Austin would be nice closure, but I think its unrealistic.

Austin is hardly top 10 because he never proved to be more than
contender but he isn't bad and can get his next title shot even this year.

As the Austin winning the first round even without Golota's injury
... be serious, how many first rounds Golota won in his career?

Even if you are not him (which I seriously doubt) you are the same type of
annoying dumb ass who think that his mission is to retire Golota in a good faith.

The G man have his dream and until he feel he still can do it lets him do it.
Be realistic, you will not stop this thread until Golota officially announce retirement
and what you think is completely meaningless for this decision.

You can keep bounce on this tread and keep it alive ... its up to you.

Everyone beside the Klit bros is a contender right now. Austin is a top 10 by today's standards and certianly a notch higher than Mollo, who is one of the least conditioned fighters I've seen in a long while.
