is this a mismatch for the fat man with the big left hook? does tyson destroy him early or does the fat man take him into deep waters?

Mismatch in an understatement. Galento would need to sign waivers.

im fairly sure that galento would have jumped in the ring with tyson as the man was fearless.at least he would fight back not like some of tysons oppenents who were scared to death of his menacing looks and went down with any punch tyson threw.

Thst is what they said before he fought Louis.

One sportswriter predicted that Louis would "kill him" literaly not metaphoricaly.

Of course he got brutalised but Louis knew he had been in a fight.

Some people are whores who will do anything for the right amount of money. It doesn't mean they have any business doing it.....

all people who work are whores as they sell themselves for a hourly rate or salary. that aside i believe that galento would have been in it to win it.not just looking for a paycheck(he had a viable business running a saloon.)

I would bet for Mike Tyson, too. Maybe within 5 rounds. Galento was tough and had a good left hook. But Tyson had a very good punching technique, was faster and had good footwork. Maybe, that Tony could give him some tough moments.

It wouldn't have mattered what his feelings on the matter were when going into the match. He would have lost.

Tyson was bigger, faster, and stronger than Louis... with even more power.

I would say that it is questionable who has the edge in all of the categories you mentioned.

That aside it is probably fair to say that they are comparable give or take in each respect.

My point is that Louis thought he was going to be beating up on a fat tub of lard then he got staggered by that left hook.

Look at the expresion on his face at that point. It says "Oh **** this is going to be harder than I thought".

Now just maybe Tyson would have a moment like that...........

"Oh **** this is going to be harder than I thought".

Hell even Max Baer wasnt eager to mix it up with Gallento and he could smile while he was being hit on the chin with a sledgehammer.
