pavlik is middleweight while froch is a supermiddle with an 80% knockout ratio:deal so like I said he punches much harder.
Wow your logic is soo sound....please allow me to retort: blah blah blah...insert tin can analogy...you know the rest....Please go watch some boxing.
Taylor UD.He should use movement and jabbing and he should be ok.Froch's front hand is way to low, this fighter wil tax him more likely.
Terrible logic. Lacy hits harder than Pavlik (Taylor said so himself); how many of you "unbiased people" were picking Lacy to KO Taylor? The fact that Taylor is a 2:1 favorite in this poll with only 9% of the people voting for Froch picking him to win by decision tells me that even his supporters believe his only chance in this fight is a lucky punch.
LoL. Exactly. And for ppl to say Froch is gonna KTFO Taylor cause he hits harder thna Pav is ******e, and it shows how much faith they have in their fighters skills. Styles make fights, just because Pav KO'd Taylor doesn't mean Froch will.
I see 31 votes for a Froch KO, but Froch's power is a red herring in this match-up. Power is only a useful stylistic advantage if you have the speed and the skills to land flush shots. Froch has neither. His power is also over rated. Omar Pttiman, a club fighter with a 38% KO ratio, hurt Pascal worse than Froch ever did. Jermain Taylor is lightning fast, has one of the best jabs in the business, and throws text book combinations. Froch has slow hands, slow feet, poor reflexes, and does not keep his hands up. Do the math.
10 of Pavlik's last 12 fights ended in knock outs. Of the two guys who made 12 rounds, JT was one of them.
