ESPN started running them the day after the episodes for...season 3? Didn't they actually air the quarter and semifinals uncut too? That got a very positive response, IIRC. Not sure why Versus took such a huge step backward. Not pleased with the regression. :verysad

Hey, Ding was not long ago (fairly or not) propped up as a potential titlist by some (and even an eventual unification kingpin by a few zealots :yep).

The level of competition this season isn't the worst in the show's history by any stretch. The winner of Hino-Ross at least, I expect could give problems to some top ten guys.

Ding was brought up only by people here cuz he talks to them.He never was anything special. The way he lost to Hino(who really ain't anything himself) shows he's on the way out.I mean when was the last time he wopn a fight decently important?Nwodo I think.Flores beat him,Arslan beat him,now Hino. He's most likely done.

Nwodo, Davis, Brown and Judah was the stretch that had everybody salivating...even though it came off a four-fight skid against better opp. :nod

Does anyone doubt that Ross is going to win this fight? Not only that, he looks like he's the real deal and i see him making A LOT of noise at the CW division.

Honestly the loser of this fight has just as real a shot at hanging around the top ten as the winner. :good

Not that impressed with Quino. I think he's a bit too small for a CW and it's going to show against Ross. What i like about Ross is that he's a pretty busy guy. He doesn't just pot shot. He throws combinations with bad intentions behind them.

True, but Adamek as the man to beat in the division poses all kinds of problems for Ross IMO. Well-seasoned skillset, sturdy chin, has a decent workrate himself (except when he doesn't :yep). I'd be optimistic about Ross' chances against most of the rest of the top ten, for sure. Flores would be a great styles match-up from a fan perspective.

Ross just seems like the complete package. Good size, tons of natural talent and the right mindset to be great.

Who was that black guy with the pointy head that was eliminated twice? Now that guy has the WRONG mindset. He actually took a fu*ken knee in the last round of his fight just because didn't want to get hit. And he wasn't even getting battered. Now that's what you call lack of balls.

If Ross hooks up with a really solid trainer he could have the division in a throttlehold in a couple years. :good

Yeah Godfrey's talent would seem to exceed his hunger for the game. :yep

Hino earning a finalist spot has actually done wonders for BJ Flores' resume.

Hino lost big to Patrick Nwamu, a 12-1 fighter that BJ beat while he was coming up for the IBA Title.

Nwamu beating a Contender finalist makes him look like an even more credible victory for Flores.

I've been avoiding this thread the past week or so because of the spoilers, but I'm back now. I can't wait for next weeks live event, it should be entertaining. Ross should win without much trouble. Anyone know if its going to be a 10 round fight?

I'm predicting Ross by KO. He comes to fight. He doesn't just pot shot from the outside.
