He lost. There is no proof whatsoever that there were improper wraps and the NSAC cleared Margarito. Believe what you like, but Cotto lost and Margarito won, end of story.

They will fight again be assured of that, when is the question but Cotto will want and get redemption. Fight one Margarito won fair. Most greats lose and dare I say it but its how you come back. And to add to the pot, Jones Junior could not get his olympic farce overturned so it seems decisions once made stick my friend.

 

He has been proven to cheat at least once. What makes anyone think he didn't cheat before. Why do people so easily extend the benefit of doubt to proven cheaters and liars? Due process should not apply to fraudsters like Marg. Just because he was caught only once does not mean he was fighting clean before. He should now be considered a disgraced fighter and his entire career, including the win over Cotto, should be placed into doubt. That's how you deal with cheaters.

 

no im a real fan and i do agree cotto lost, but we can't be quick to say he would of lost even if margo didn't have loaded gloves. i belive that cotto would stood up taking those shots and at the end have a clear victory over margo, but a lose is a lose. i'm starting to think more mexican fighters are using loaded gloves trainers have to be more aware.

 

Since when? And does that include people like Mosley, Trinidad, Jones, Toney etc? If so, there are some lineages going to be seriously ****ed up.
