Is Mundine going to see out the rest of his Career fighting Muppets ?

Just a waste of talent

Mundine seems content fighting guys he can't possibly lose to instead of seeking the best.

I thought after the Green fight, Mundine would be reaching for the stars

He hasn't had a PPV worthy opponent for years, it's a disgrace.

It now seems like Mundine is happy to see out the rest of his career like this

 

probably which is sad for his fans.the knee surgery he apparently having will probably finish any chance of him fighting Sturm.him and danny will fight a few nuffies have their fight in perth and both retire together but will have epiphanies and come back for a third fight.

 

Hmmm.... could be the most prophetic call on this site. Wouldn't be suprised to see it transpire in this fashion.

Whats the story with the Knee surgery??

 

Mundine realises deep down that he can't beat the elite/very best in boxing. So his charade continues - mouth off that your the best when fighting average fighters/journeymen who take you the distance, promise the world to your handfull of fans who believe every word you spew out but never deliver, continually shout out that you are a 2 time world champ when in reality you have never been a world champ (secondary WBA titles or interim titles are not world titles FFS).Continually mention elite/top level names such as Calzaghe/Pavlik/Abraham/Sturm etc etc in the media so that unknowledgeable people will think you are on a par with those fighter's all the while having no intention to ever fight them. The best one is this - shamelessly duck Kessler who is now a well known name in boxing worldwide after a very good performance against Joe Calzaghe with the excuse that Mundine wants to be middleweight champ then proceed to fight bums/journeymen for the next 2 yrs at guess what, yes thats right supermiddleweight.He then finally fights at 160 approx 2 yrs after the Kessler episode to fight the very dangerous Shannon Taylor. Oh dear.

i really hope mundine does step it up this year, as a fan of his fighting style i am to starting to get sick of seeing him fight fighters well below his level.

No one on this forum is spouting off that we are the best fighter ever/best sportman ever, whereas Mundine is so he is open for this very deserved criticism. :nono Seriously, can't you see through the smoke and mirrors yet.

3# makes more $ out of people that want to see him get kod .

Very sad that we have more Mundine threads every day when the guy hasn't done ****, and will continue to do ****. And Vic and Kats get ignored after one beats a top contender in Arce, and the other is likely to fight another top contender (Diaz or Chavez).

Anyone who can't see what Mundine is doing is just plain STUPID.
