    A Couple Things....

That Fight was Close As ****... Close Enough to say the it was a possible robbery for nate... ali at some points was getting in nates ass... the cards were to far apart

Im Happy Nate Won... He paid his dues and if he lost i felt he would have a hard time getting a fight at 140

I kinda wanted ali to win at the same time... ESPECIALLY AFTER SEEING HIM AFTER THE FIGHT!!!.... he was working hard and hes a pretty talented guy... 6 1 & can make 130? that makes no sense..... but long, fairly strong, fairly quick he was putting in work but them ko's hurt him.... i felt awful for him after tho.... this poor guy was crying in his corner for so long... i felt his pain though man this guy poored out his blood sweat and tears for that fight and he lost.... i doubt he will ever get a fight @ 130 again... i dont see why anyone in their right mind would want to fight him.... props to nate for taking that.....

thats all.... i was very split while i was watching at the arena... all in all fun night....

    ps.

KERMIT CINTRON IS THE SOFTEST FIGHTER EVER!!

    It's 135, not 130.

Funeka will likely get a shot based on how close the cards were and all that. I wouldn't be surprised if he and Valero were paired up in all honesty, perhaps even on Showtime.

As for Nate? I see bad things at 140. I don't think he can beat the top dogs there. Hatton will outmuscle him, Holt is bigger and not susceptible to wide looping rights so he would probably knock him around, Bradley is slick enough to make Nate look foolish.

I think Nate should take a fight with Ricardo Torres as a measuring stick for how he'd do at 140.

It was Nates plan to throw wide looping shots...The guy was freaking 6 ft 1 as a lightweight...You not really going to land many right down the pipe...

It was a close fight, and let's be honest Funeka was utterly ****ed when he got knocked down and it very well could have been stopped after each kd when he was holding onto Nate Campbell like a fat kid holding onto the last Twinkie, but I think that fight should have been a draw, and if not, a Funeka win. He did more to keep the fight at HIS distance and was much busier and the better boxer, but I wouldn't call it a robbery.

Robbery isnt even close to being the case in that fight...Nate clearly won the first 3 rounds no doubt about that, including a 10-8 round for the first knockdown, that meant that Funeka would have had to win 7 of the last 9 rounds to win the fight...He didnt do that, he lost rounds 11 with a knockdown and 12.. I thought that campbell also won round 8...Not sure how anyone could call the fight a robbery

The 3rd could have easily gone to Funeka. Easily.

I dont think it was a robbery. Funeka needed to be a bit more convicing for that to be considered a robbery. It could have been a draw, but not a W for Funeka. Still a great fight nonetheless. Funeka has a bright future IMO.

Even if that were the case, it done make the fight a robbery...7-5 for Funeka and he still would not have won the fight..I havent seen the judges breakdown of the fight but I would bet that the two that had him winning gave him the 3rd and 8th rounds..1-3, 8, 11-12...6 round each two point win for Campbell...

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't think it was a robbery. I had the same card as Lederman, except with the 3rd going to Funeka. I was impressed with his ability to turn Campbell and move and to keep the fight at his pace and distance, but I could see it as a draw or Campbell by a round or two at most. It just depended on how you scored the fight.

That fight wasn't close in my opinion ... Nate Campbell dominated ... he pressed the action from the opening bell and every since the second round, it didn't seem like Funeka was boxing effectively but more so trying to get Campbell off of him. '

Those body shots started to show in the 10th round ... Funeka wasn't doing much but pitty patter ... the shots campbell landed were more powerful and authoritative.

    1. Get off of de Crackpipe, that **** is gonna rot your teeth.

I had Nate well ahead going into the 11th, when he REGULATED Ali Funeka's ass again. And I like Funeka, good prospect, that was a tough break for the African. And I gave Natedogg the 12th as well.
