Did Lennox Lewis say there was no way Margerito didn't know his gloves were loaded?

I can't speak for divac but I think theres a difference in between being a Margo fan and just wanting due process to be observed.

Can you counteract anything that I've said so far as untruthful?

    I did'nt think so!:deal

Listen, I was one of the first on this board to call for a lifetime ban if they had indeed found a hardlike plaster substance on Margarto's wraps.....

.....we already know that is not the case!

Excuse me for spewing out the facts!

In actuality, I could'nt have been more happier for Shane Mosely.

The Margarito victory cemented Shane's legacy, and imo catapulted him above both Trindad and DLH legacy wise.

I"m a boxing fan first and foremost......and I was happy to see Shane shine in the twighlight of his career.

Funny but it has been Shane himself who has been unwilling to take a jackhammer to Margarito's head before due process is served!:yep
....in fact, even right after they fought, Shane was quoted as saying that he did'nt think Margarito knew about the wrong doing.

Your talking about facts and you have Mosley over a six division champ in Oscar. Maybe, just maybe over Tito, but not Oscar especially after using steroids at 154. Plaster, no plaster, maybe plaster... let's wait as long as these guys want to drag this out to find out what it really was.

Do you have any credible link saying it was a fact there was no hardlike substance in his wraps?

Rating fighters legacy wise is always about opinion and never about fact.....I made it clear in my previous post that it was my opinion.....

Mosely holds big victories over DLH twice and Margarito.

Trinidad over DLH and Vargas when he was at the top of his game.

Those two hold big victories over fighters their size......
.....winning titles in mulitpe weight classes nowdays is overrated in that there's too many belts in each division.
Nowdays you dont have to be the best fighter in a division to win a title.....hell you dont even have to be a top 5 fighter in a division to win one......

DLH in my opinion falls below both Mosely and Trinidad in that he did'nt win big fights......lets be real here, DLH is a failure at coming through in big fights.
.....DLH's defining career victory came against a shot Fernando Vargas, and thats all I have to say about it.

All this argument over what it is exactly they found in his handwraps, and that we cannot judge margerito untill we know all the facts are pointless at this stage.

Fact is that it is utterly ridicilous that there is no openness and no conclusive word on what exactly happened with the wraps, that says a lot about boxing these days. Yet another scandal without truths....

But most important is the fact that in the end as a proffessional athlete you are responsible for you performance AND your gear. He SHOULD exactly know what is legal and what's not and EXACTLY know how he's wrapped. It's to protect his own hands for crying out loud. If he somehow does not, than he's responsible in the end and should take the blame for it!

  15. No didn't Lennox not say not that there was no way margarito did not know his gloves were not loaded?
