I voted for Calzaghe because it was 48 Tito to 47 JC at the time, and I'm obsessive compulsive and felt the need to even it out.

I would love to hear how your critical 3 factors actualy make a differencce in the long run. So your saying moving up and down in weight to win titles is a major factor. So are we to believe Ray Leonards 2 weight title joke victory over the blonde bombshell Lalonde is a major factor. How about Lennox Lewis and Joe Calzaghe dominating for 10 years plus for example. Neither moved weights do you intend to tell me this is to their detrement

Joe was nearly 37 when he boxed Americas best so stop this Oh he fought a shell of or he fought an old version of. And oh my god if he fought a shell of Hopkins what would he do to the mighty Kelly Pavlik. Seriously Americas biggest hype since Howard Davis and thats being kind

I would definitly say Tito. IMO his resume is far superior of Calzaghe's and has also won more world titles at different weights. Calzaghe though undefeated has a fairly weak resume IMO.

Tito, surprised it's so close and I'm a Brit and have followed Calzaghe's career for years, always been a fan.

Way to miss the point. Lennox Lewis was fighting in an prestigious division in one of its strongest and deepest ever eras in terms of talent. Calzaghe was fighting at 168, a weak, by any standards, division. So yeah, its certainly not a good thing that he never went up or down in weight (until the very end) in search of better fights against tougher opponents - in the same way Tito did.

    Better fighter - Calzaghe
    Faced better opponents - Trinidad

    Very close for me.

Trinidiad v Calzaghe was the one fight i wish Calzaghe would have taken when both athlete's were at their prime. i know a lot of people on this forum say JC didn't fight many of the big American names but apart from Trinidiad he didn't really need to.

I am going for JC because of his long illustrious career.

Trinidad was a natural welterweight, Calzaghe a super-middleweight, its not a fight that would have made much sense, given that when Tito was a prime welter, Calzaghe was an obscure super-middleweight, hiding out in Wales.

Ok now look at the 3 fighters you just named.

Eubanks- Past his prime and half retired.

Hopkins- 2 weight classes from his best past his prime still probably the best win on Calzaghe's resume.

    Jones- Completely shot.

It's actually very easy to argue.
