Actually some sources including the IBU, have him as a former World Flyweight Champion, here's the titles he held during his career.

    BBBofC British flyweight title
    EBU (European) flyweight title
    IBU (1913 - 1946) flyweight title

    BBBofC British featherweight title
    EBU (European) featherweight title

He did stop Jimmy Wilde for the IBU Flyweight Title, on January 25, 1915, before Wilde was the recognized Champion. He then fought and lost to Joe Symonds, who was recognized as the World Flyweight Champion on October 18, 1915. Wilde then beat Symonds for the recognized Title and then Lee lost to Wilde for that same title on June 26, 1916.

Robert Alcazar, Jesus Rivero, "Nacho" Beristain, Freddie Roach, Emanuel Steward, Gil Clancy, Floyd Mayweather Sr. and also Carlos Ortiz trained him for a very short time but he hurt his left hand which forced Oscar to cancel his next bout.[FONT=&quot]

In reference to the judging of the Bossi-Hernandez fight question that Conteh asked earlier, I believe the answer to that question was the fact that one of the judges scored it 150-150, thereby calling every single round even!

New question to get this thread up out of the dust again.

    QUESTION:

The fighters listed below are part of a small club that over 100 other fighters didn’t want to be part of. What is the common link between these nine fighters:

    1/ TOM LENIHAN
    2/ FRED COOLEY
    3/ YOUNG COYLE
    4/ CHARLIE PIZER
    5/ JOE AMMON
    6/ DAN MCCONNELL
    7/ BILL LARRY
    8/ TOM DALEY
    9/ …..? DEVANEY

Ron Cranmer is best known for beating who?

    (no peeking)

    Bonus points:

When introduced in this fight, what was Cranmer's ring alias?

Wouldn't have got it without looking. Canmer only won 4 in total, and obviously Gerry, after 10 years out of it, was only a shell of his former self.

As for the ring announcement for Cranmer - no idea whatsoever????

    Yes, it was Jerry Quarry.

But I'll leave the second question open for the people who have seen the quasi-rare footage.
