This is a similar mismatch to the Pavlik v Lockett fight.

Unless Margarito has ruined Cotto then I see a stoppage in 4.

I bet Jennings takes his lumps like a man though, rather than quitting like a little *****.

    Pathetic is too kind.

They ought to have withheld his purse.

I'm going with Jennnings. If the hand of god interfers and he wins I can say I predicted a miracle and look smug.

If (when) not then I can claim that I was drunk whilst making this post.

    Cmon Mike.

i think your all being a bit bitchy about jennings.
    he is a very decent boxer,good style,not a bad punch,and good chin.
i can see him out boxing cotto for 1st half of fight, then prob getting stopped later on,i really hope he dusent,he is a good lad.
who knows what that beating he took of margo, who basiclly was a nobody, who was going to get twated of cotto, but cotto folded and giv up after 6 rounds, and we all know what happened in margos next fight.
cotto's got a hard punch, but he aint the graetest boxer in the world

Jennings will last longer and put up a better fight than Lockett.

Just how much has that loss to Margarito taken out of Cotto? I'm not sure he can fully recover from that defeat and be the fighter he was prior to that fight. However, I still believe he'll have enough to stop a brave Jennings by round nine.

we should be getting this frigging live, our British boy is fighting for God's sake, and we are left with delayed coverage. Its all good, delayed is better than nothing.

It seems unlikely he would outbox Cotto. This is not a slugging type of pressure fighter. Cotto is a great technical pressure fighter. He beat Mosley with the jab. He outboxed him 7 rounds to 5.

As much as Jennings is a likeable fellow and as much as I would love nothing more than to see him beat Cotto it just simply isn't going to happen. Cotto is just too big and strong, he will walk through everything Jennings throws at him.
I can see Jennings defence holding out for 5 or maybe 6 rounds but then Cotto will begin to dominate and eventually brutally ko the kid.

A Jennings win would rank along side Honeygans win over Curry.

But like others have said, Jennings will go out on his shield. Fighting to the last. Good luck!

Can't see this going any other way than a Cotto TKO. Mid rounds.

Fair play to Jennings though for fighting Cotto. Even for a payday. Good luck to him.
