I knew this would be about the Margarito hand wraps issue, which is why it WAS ignored.

I can't really understand your voice there Freddy so I didn't listen to all of it, but I think I know your stand on the subject. But you also have to understand the reason a lot of people are being so hard on Margo is because Capetillo hasn't said anything about the wraps not being there to damage the other fighter and being there to protect the nuckes (and neither has Margarito). He has just excused himself and said he put them there by accident. That sounds supicious, so if the pads were not to inflict further damage to their oponents how come they haven't said anything about it. I'm personally not taking a side yet (and if you've seen my posts regarding this subject you know it's true), and I'm sure I wont until I know what the substance is and why it was there.

 

i know man, it sucks that my voice came out like that, it's a really good interview too...hopefully the other parts are more clearer...

and capetillo did say they use them in training to protect the knuckles...:good

 

I did hear they used them in training, but the protection part didn't make it to the person talking about it. Amazing how people leave stuff out to make a point. Either way, I'm still waiting for the official decision in March and take it from there :good

 

it must be frustrating for them, they dont speak english and they're relying on the intrepeter to get their messege across....but either way, march will be judgement day :good

Im waiting for the Last and final results of the investigation. Like what a responsible audience/consumer/fan should do. In the meantime, he's (margo) not getting anymore fights this year due to the suspension . If there was controversy, then let it be solved, atleast you will have something "concrete" to back up your accusations. In the meantime, i dont really believe what either side of the camps are saying. Interviews here and there. The technicalities can be discussed, and it will be used as guidelines for whatever results the investigation shows.

now, if that is illegal, fine then i understand...but to automatically jump the gun is pretty ****ed up..

 

99.9% of the pros do use knuckle pads where the **** are you from?
