so....what chance has rocky rogan got here then ?

skelton is 42...and if rogan brings the same effort as he did against audley...i think he might just have a chance..

He certainly has a chance but i just feel that Skelton is just too awkward and will win by a close(ish) UD.

Skelton wins an ugly UD. Got alot of time for Rogan he`s blue collar. But the guys only here for the ride. He`s gone as far as he can go and despite Skelton being as smooth as a brillo pad he doesnt have the skills to beat a big bruiser like Matt.

I'm unsure if age is a big factor. We've been mentioning Skelton's age for a long time, yet his performance is improving if anything. We should remember he was late into the game.

Skelton should win this, quite simply. He holds a clear and decisive edge in all areas that are going to count. He is the more experienced. He's fought far better opposition. Both are rough house type fighters, but Skelton is the bigger and stronger IMO, with proven inside ability. Skelton even holds a clear edge in boxing ability, he boxed well to start with against Chagaev. Skelton has more power. The more proven chin.

Can't see how Rogan wins this to be honest. Won't be able to hurt Skelton I think or outwork or outbox him over 12 rounds.

Im going against the grain a bit, as I think Skelton will win, but inside the distance, in the first half of the fight.

Skelton is what he is, but his mauling style is all wrong for Rogie, in fact never mind styles, Skelton is simply the better & more experienced fighter. I dont see Rogie lasting long in this one to be honest. Rogie hs had the luck of the irish in spades during his Balboaesque rise to stardom, but when I saw this matchup, I knew then that even Rogies luck had run out...

& its a shame, cos I think there is a lot of mileage left in Rogies career, if the right fights are made at the right time. Putting him in with Skelton though? All wrong. Wrong fighter style wise, at the wrong time as big Matt is in arguably the finest form of his career to date.

    Almost agree :good

Rogan will do well to get to the last bell. As impressive as his albeit dubious win over Audrey was (I had Rogan losing by a round), Skelton is an altogether different style to A-Hole. Perfect for Rogan.
Good chin and heart. Won't **** himself like A-Hole did when Rogan lands one. Skelton is a big, solid, mauler who will not be worried by Rogans almost bully like style.
I expect Rogan to look very battered and bruised after a long fight, Rogan is unlikely to run out of steam as I am sure he has trained like never before for this fight. He went the full 10 with A-Hole which was the first time he had fought past 6 rounds and even then he has only fought at 6 rounds once before which makes his achievement even more impressive imo.
I like Rogan, he seems an amiable chap who doesn't try to make himself out to be something he isn't. A trait which many top boxers could do with copying.
But he has been badly over matched here.

It should be a good fight,i think Skelton will win it on points but i think Rogan will give him some real problems early in the fight.

I think Skelton will be too much for Rogan, too big, too strong, too experienced and strong will to win but i think it will be a good fight
