The decades not over yet. There are still some big fights left for Hopkins and Pacman. It depends on how they turn out.
Well roy jones, Calzaghe, Haye, Taylor are all great fighters and calzaghe+taylor wooped bhop soooo i kinda do see the others having a case
Who can Bernard fight in the next year-18 months who will really improve upon what he has already done?I only see Dawson at 175 and maybe if he stepped up to win a belt
He can fight Adamek, Kessler, Taylor, or Dawson. Adamek would get him The Ring CW belt. That would really help. Beating Kessler would be another big win. Beating the supposed top dog at SMW. Avenging Taylor would erase those two close losses. He probably won't fight Dawson but if he did, that would be huge.
Hopkins lost twice to Taylor. Taylor was the no.1 contender in the first fight and the champ in the 2nd. If Floyd had fought anyone else other than Corrales, who was the 2nd man at SFW, then maybe he would have closer fights or maybe even losses. B-Hop always fought the best. If someone says 'his best wins were against people coming up in weight' I will SCREAM. Floyd's best wins were against a weight-drained man who was just about to go in prison and a limited (but still terrific) 140lber who, by all means, is **** at 147. See, these comparisons can be made for anyone. Hopkins lost to Calzaghe, high up on the P4P rankings and who has now retired undefeated. THe closeness of that fight means Hop loses nothing from it reading CALZAGHE WIN 12. Has gone on to school the man who was supposed to win just on workrate and who possibly could've been the first to stop Hopkins. I rank Mosley higher than Floyd, this decade he beats prime DLH (the first fight, the 2nd fight has no end of controversies, from the decision to BALCO) has fought Winky Wright x2 (both losses but if Mayweather had stepped up to 154 and fought a genuinely good, i.e 'Prime' fighter like Daniel Santos or now Paul Williams that he might have suffered the same fate) Floyd's work in the last ten years has been very, very good but Hopkins and Pac have been special. By the way StoneRose I'm not implying that you take anything away from B-Hop due to him fighting 'smaller' fighters only that some people use this as a way to take away from B-Hop's losses and say 'FLoyd is still undefeated' as if that makes him a better fighter. Calzaghe is undefeated for the same reasons, didn't fight the absolute best he could, unlike Hopkins, who even now fights very, very good names, even though he faced some shocking mandatories in his title reign, he moved up and tried to find new challenges, like Tarver. If Floyd actually STEPPED UP and fought the likes of Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Hell, even Clottey or Vernon Forrest, he might be able to surpass Hop's resume.
