Thompson was considered one of the best in the division. He WAS ALSO A MANDATORY CHALLENGER! Many people picked him and his southpaw stance to beat Wlad. Let's not forget the Undefeated Sam Peter when Wlad beat him... The #1 ranked Heavyweight by Ring Mag and IBF Champ Chris Byrd.... The Undefeated top contender Calvin Brock... The undefeated WBO Champion Sultan Ibragimov. Rahman wasn't Wlad's first choice... the undefeated top contender Povetkin pulled out of their fight... let's not pretend like Rahman wasn't anything more than the highest ranked available fighter that Wlad could grab on short notice... who also counted as Wlad's mandatory to open him up for a voluntary defense next.

He will not win a debate with me because I state facts to back up my claims and he just replies with biased opinions. He claims that Wlad isn't fighting the World's best... I prove him wrong... so immediately he starts talking about how horrible the division is. Nice diversion tactic, but I am a bit too smart for that nonsense.

His reply should have been... "Well. I guess you are right. You clearly gave examples of Champions and undefeated top contenders who were considered to be among the best in the World when Wlad beat them."
