This has happened before. When Vitali quit against Bryd, Wlad was Chris' next opponent. when Wlad gassed out against Purrity, Vitali got revenge for his brother. Same thing when Sanders upset Wlad, Cory got beat down by Vitali. From Hayes point of view, this scenerio would be the best financially. He has the chance to be the first to beat both Klitchko's. What would be wrong with that?
Have we got anything other than Adam Booths word on this being true? Because he's not exactly unbiased is he?
Which is why Wlad actively sought out a rematch with Sanders, while Sanders OPENLY admitted to denying Wlad a rematch. He said in a video interview with Max boxing that he refused to give Wlad a rematch, and that Wlad really wanted one. At the time, he said that he would ONLY give Wlad a rematch if Sanders got a shot at Vitali and beat him first.
A rematch clause I can live with. But a double rematch clause let alone a triple rematch clause is just disgrace. Wlad and only Wlad should get one and only one rematch should he lose against Haye. Every clause that is deviating from this is bull**** and shows that he is not the confident champion people make of him. It's already pathetic that he is considering/demanding a different rematch clause than the standard one.
Why would Wlad have bothered sending Haye an offer in the first place, if he didn't want to fight him?:think It isn't as if he HAS to fight Haye.
One last time. You can't REMATCH someone you have not had a fight with. So, if Haye beats Wlad and then fights Vitali that is not a rematch. It looks like K2 is wanting options on Haye. I can't believe some of you can't understand this. atsch
Haye forced him into the postion otherwise Wlad would have looked like an even bigger ***** than he is! How did Haye force him you say? By chopping his head off and flaunting the picture to his family, calling him out whenever possible and chasing his ass around Europe thats how....
IIRC he was so furious and boiling with rage at the mock up picture of Haye holding his severed head that he was determined to teach Haye a lesson with his fists. The moment seems to have passed however and now he's happy to restrict himself to a strongly worded letter expressing his disappointment.
Oh yeah Wlads offer "If you beat me; you have to fight me, my brother, or any one else we tell you for your next two fights after...."
