    Ridiculous clause.

If you havent already read it, it means Haye wins and had a mandatory he would have to give up the belt in order to fight Wlad again and then face Vitali.

So Haye could fight them 3 times and win and quite possible STILL not have the title.

Whether Haye brings more to the table than other challengers is up for debate but those options are jokes.

    Wlad is the Champion.

Haye needs Wladimir but Wlad did not need Haye.

No fighter is a *****, but I feel your pain buddy. This fight had my hopes up a bit too, it's just sad Wlad cant give the fans what they want, instead he rather fight weather worn Maskaev, who will probably last a few rounds with Wlad at best.

The fact he is professional boxer obviously makes him not a ***** but he is possibly giving up the most exciting fight there is in the division right now !

Hope they can sort it out, its a KO waiting to happen

Wlad needs big exciting fights , so he needs Haye. He is afraid Haye will do a Corey Sanders on him. He may not be a ***** but he is acting like a ***** asking for 2 rematches ! Who else has ever done that ?

    The words of a Champion.

We live in a free world. The Champion will make a voluntary defense of his titles so he can fight who he wants. I hope it will be Arreola or James Toney. :good

I cant disagree there, this fight had me really excited for this summer. I just dont get Wlad, he's always talking about how he wants to fight the best and give fight fans what they want, well now he has a golden opertunity to come through, and he's not. So instead of Haye, he's fighting Maskaev! What a ****ing let down.

Haye had no problem with the rematch clause. Why would you? How the hell would Haye end up not being the Champion?:huh First of all, there is only ONE rematch, that would be vs Wlad. The fight against Vitali would be the Unification fight between Haye and Vitali that HAYE WANTED!:patsch

This is what Haye wants, you didn't know that? This is the best possible scenario for Haye. First of all, if he beat Wlad, OF COURSE he would have to have an immediate rematch. That's the way it goes. Wlad can't have Haye going and losing in some mandatory defense without getting his chance at revenge. This isn't anything uncommon. Then if Haye beat Wlad in the rematch, they were working out a deal that would then let Haye get a crack at Vitali's WBC title as well. Why the hell are you guys complaining about this? THIS BENEFITS HAYE! That is 3 HUGE fights, 3 HUGE paydays, along with winning the WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO and Ring Magazine Championship titles. You consider this a problem?:admin

The only organization that MAY have a problem is the IBF who may try to force Haye to fight Povetkin, however they might ALSO give Haye an extension for the rematch.... which is also common. Even if the IBF was trying to force Haye into defending against a mandatory... you can bet your ASS that Haye would toss that belt in the garbage before turning down a fight with a Klitschko. This is the best possible scenario of events for Haye! Guess what else? HAYE AGREED TO THEM BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT HE WANTED!

My mistake, I seen Klitschko/Maskaev, and I instantly thought it meant Wlad/Maskaev. My mistake Widdow, my anger got me not thinking so straight.
