:lol:After reading through the rest of the posts in this thread I have to agree with you here. I will head over to the Bowie Tupou vs. Danny Batchelder thread immediately.

The division needs this fight to happen. Even if it ends up being a mismatch, at least it's got people genuinely interested in a heavyweight fight. When is the last time that's happened?

Let's just hope this is one of those bumps in the road that happens before negotiations are finalized. How many times have we heard that a big fight is in trouble because the two side couldn't agree, only to shortly afterwards that the deal is done.

Are you saying that team Haye wanted to win the belts, then get forced to drop them again, presumably so WALDO can re-claim them?

Doesn't wash Chef, I'm afraid, it stinks.

Let David Haye become a mandatory for Wlad. I'm tired of hearing all of this already.

Let Wlad fight Arreola in May at the Staples Center. He can then fight Povetkin in September.

If Wlad is victorious in those two contests hopefully Haye can fight meanwhile and become a mandatory.

it was Haye that wanted the multi fight deal... money figured out later but a contract for options.

Haye is smart. Think about it. If he wins he gets another huge payday for a "rematch" and if.. (BIG IF) he wins the rematch, he gets Vitali. at that time, that fight would most likely be the biggest of the 3 .

If he is as good as all you guys say he is... he is in for some HUGE paydays. do the options seem dumb now?:hi:

Wlad only needs to knock Haye out once and that will be the end of it.
We don't know the details--including you-- but they are not cowards.
Would you be willing to say that to their face if someone could arrange a meeting?

True, the 2 rematch clauses is not the problem, the problem is the purse split in those rematch options and the timing of these fights, which would have to be put in front of a mandatory.

IMO, there is also a problem of respect and credibility in this negotiation. After all the Haye BS toward the Klitchkos, the London pursuit, the decapitated head picture, the restaurant situation, plus the Stanford Bridge fiasco from Haye's people, K2 team is just not open to hear Haye's camp anymore, they are just forcing their will on them and that's it.

But it seems he's not too confident of doing that, if these stories are true, right?

If WALDO is so confident of KO'ing Haye then why all this bull****? Answer the question.
