it depends who you're fighting against

and Pacquiao had an injury too. Cut by a headbutt with blood pouring into his eye.

But Pac tore through a bigger, more accomplished fighter, p4p fighter like he was nothing. He basically walked right through Barrera.

Wether you put on a boxing clinic or just completely dominate your opponent physically does not make one performance better than the other, those are just different types of performance.

Funny how people give PBF no credit for his toughness despite a bad shoulder.:-(

He didn't walk right through him. MAB had a brain surgery prior to the fight which he was bothered by. Like another poster said. PBF-Chico was one of the best boxing clinic of the last 25 years what Pac did to MAB wasn't close.:deal It's like comparing Cotto-Zab to Hopkins-Tito no comparison can be made as far as the masterclass perfomance.

Actually Corrales is more on the level of Castillo, while Tito would be more of a legend like Barrera. Actually Barrera is an even bigger legend than Tito.
Zab had Cotto shook and wobbly at some point, Barrera never had Pac in trouble.

Pacquiao's win over Barrera is even better than Hopkins' win over Tito. Tito moved up in weight to fight Hopkins, while in Pac's case he's the one who moved up in weight to fight Barrera. Its like if Tito had dominated Hopkins, knocked him around like a nobody, and then knocked him out.

Pac's performance in that fight was unbelievable. Doesn't need to be a boxing clinic to be that way.

as for the excuse about brain surgery, get real. Barrera was closer to top form on that night than Corrales was against Floyd. Corrales was having tons of problems before fight night.

Corrales even vacated his IBF belt before the PBF fight because he couldn't make 130 anymore, but then Floyd offered him the fight so he drained himself to make weight.

Nope the funnier thing is how people dont give Castillo credit for his performance that night by making excuses that Mayweather was injured...

That's bull****... he was the better man that night and the second fight goes to show you that.(another close fight)

That's a fence-sitting comment. They are different types of performance, but it is perfectly valid to say one is better than the other. In my opinion, Mayweather's performance was better.

Although he lost, I think it was one of Pac's best fight considering that he fought with only one eye for the majority of the fight.:good

mayweather took a rest in rounds 8-10...he is way ahead in points so he opted to relax a little bit...put pacquiao is a warrior the every minute of the fight

Mayweather got his arse beaten by Castillo in their first fight, that's why a rematch was ordered.

pac performed better because he fought an elite p4p top 10 into a close contest
