But Ali has more power than TOS who dropped Wlad...You forget the Wladl goes down and fights...so once you factor in the knockdowns that Ali would score then you have to swing the fight in favor of Ali...I can also see Ali knocking Wlad out...

Interesting view point... now lets look at who they fought lol. Ali fought the best of his era, an era much stronger than todays pathetic out of shape heavies. They were hungry back in Ali's day, now they are hungry in a different way... James Toney, a blown up Lt heavy or cruiser can hold his own against ANYONE in the heavyweight division, I think that pretty much tells us all we need to know about the depth of todays HW scene...

Ali has a similar if not better reach than Wlad too, and his jab was razor like. This fight would not go past 4 rounds in my humble opinion, win for Ali.

It's easy to look like a moron if you only take a half ass approach to your conclusion. Looking at only the surface when comparing Ali to Wald will have you looking like an ass hole. There is much more to boxing than a nice shiney record. Substance, era, level of competion and over all skills are very important in this game son.....if you just look at a record that is undefeated and base your assumpiton that he has to be the very best b/c of a the record alone you'll never comprehend the sport completely. I guess Ed Valero is the GOAT! Record # of 1st round KO's and Undefeated! That's got to be FACT!

Ali has more power than who? For all his great attributes, Ali was not a big puncher. He could not knock down Norton or Frazier, who would be KO victims for Wlad. Sanders hit like a mule and the losses against Purrity and Brewtser came from Wlad collapsing with exhaustion, not from their power.

Everything is put into perspective! You say older fighters are always pumped up....Not true. PERSPECTIVE.....meaning at some point the skills and technique gradually changed over time to be more of an effective ART or Science. By the time Ali was around the boxing science was pretty solid in terms of technique and execution......guys like Pep, Armstrong, And Robinson were far ahead of their time.

But take Jack Johnson......He was the very best in his DAY! A day when Boxing was still pretty young and the technique, strategy, rules and even training methods were pre-historic to say the least but NO one would say a JACK JOHNSON for as GREAT as he was in his day as HW champion would beat the likes of ALI...even though Jack was far more dominant and with a better record.

PERSPECTIVE!! Learn it, use it and become knowledgeable because of it.

So you think boxers from the 70's are overly hyped and not as good as they're said to be by some? Explain this then:

A way past his prime George Foreman fought a tough fight with a prime Evander, yet 20 years earlier a prime Foreman was knocked the F out by a past his prime Ali :deal Thats a funny connection if you ask me, and one that makes it very tough for you to back up your claim :good

i don't like throwing people under the bus...but saying wlad is better than ali is a joke. you may as well say that corrie sanders was better than joe frazier since corrie knocked wlad the **** OUT in wlad's prime.

Those who really think Klitchko would have beaten Ali probably aren't too familiar with Ali's history or the quality of the opposistion. If they are, then the only other answer is that they're delusional. There is no comparision.
