I have a funny feeling Khan will come in overweight against MAB

    So either the fight will be cancelled...or...it will go on and Khan will outweigh MAB by even more...Khan is big for his weight anyway now and he struggled to make the weight last time out - how much did his pants weigh?? so i won't be surprised if something like this happens and we are letdown again by a Warren show.

    (hope i'm wrong)

    You're right, Amir is a very big Lightweight and Marco is a very small Lightweight. That said, Barrera has been tested against the best fighters in the world during a career that has spanned two decades. The best fighter Khan has defeated was a shot Graham Earl.

    predictions usually contain little or no evidence...anyway, i wasn't saying they would do it on purpose, just i have a funny feeling that becasue i and many others are really looking forward to this fight, like the Enzo-Cook-Khan card a few months back, something will spoil it - as it is not too uncommon to happen on a Warren card.

    Predictions do usually contain a bit of reasoning and logic though, this "funny feeling" is a little short on both IMHO. Theres no reason for Warren or Khan to want to miss the weight limit for this fight.

    Is there a contracted weight for this fight?

    It's not a title fight, right, so we shouldn't expect either fighter to weigh in at 135lbs?

    Khan has been 137lbs plus for his previous non-title fights, Barerra has been 137.5lbs and 140lbs for his two 'lightweight' fights so far.

    Last I heard Warren is trying to get this for the vacant title. Either way, there will be a contracted weight (or there should be if MABS people know hwat they're doing).

    the reasoning and logic is that: - Khan struggled to make the weight his last fight...he took of his pants and lost god knows how many pounds (can't remember know), he is also a young lad and growing and getting bigger so there is a good chance he will struggle even more to make the weight. Also...it would not be the first time a Warren show has hit a snag and people have been let down.

    Again i will point out that i'm not saying they will do this on purpose, when you're too big to make the weight - you can't make the wieght, final.

    Marquez v Diaz is for the WBO title.

    Why would Barrera want to make 135 for a non-title fight anymore than Khan? I'd expect them both to be 138 or thereabouts.

    Still waiting for you to tell us what 'the weight' for this fight is. It's a non-title fight, they don't have to make 135.

    So which is it? Khan genuinely can't make the weight or a cunning plan by Warren to defraud his paying customers?
