Had 2 fights both in tokyo, which is notorious for hometown decisions. Jofre may already be past his prime at that time and already have tremendous amount of milage when they fought.

Has there any other Asian boxer been #1 P4P? I don't think so.

Pac is greatest Asian boxer for me.

This question is no brainer. Pac has spent all his boxing life fighting the best in the world.
Others follows his trail miles away. Let's be honest about this. No Asian has ever achieved superstardom status other than Pac. Harada who? This guy fought all his boxing life in Japan which is notorious for hometown decisions.

As of yet, Pac has yet to defeat anyone who can honestly be considered a consensus number 1-2 guy in any weight division. Harada did this, twice, with deserved victories over Eder Jofre.

Plus, Harada actaully received fair judging for the most part in Japan...and given the fact that he got completely rooked when he did go abroad and fight Famechon in his home nation, he can't really be blamed for staying at home as much as possible.

Number one all-time at 126lb!? I don't think even the most ardent of Morales and Barerra supporters would claim that they were the absolute best fighters that their division has ever produced.

Jofre, in contrast was listed by Ring Magazine at one point as the best bantamweight in history, and also was considered to be the best fighter in the world- with the exception of Ali- during the mid-60's.

Pac's beaten some good solid champions, and some great HOF-caliber fighters. But beating a legend like a prime Jofre, twice (on top of all the other good work that he did) means that Harada has to be in this discussion as well.

Thats unfair to Pacman because there wasnt and isnt a consensus all time #1-2 guy available for him to fight.

is this harada guy still breathing? how the f*ck can he top pac's accomplishment? did he move up his weight class twice in a year, won 2 division belts in a year, fought the biggest name in boxing and having the biggest ppv buys in boxing all in the same year. it takes a hundred harada to even be mentioned in the same sentence as pac. stop making comparisons of pac to other so called great asian boxers, cause clearly he's on a league of his own right now. plus the boston celtics love pac.

This is why I hate the General Forum. The level of ignorance is just mind-blowing.

I've thought of it, as I've been pushed to do so a few times and given a few opportunities. I just lack the time and dedication right now. Giving half-assed opinions and putting ******s in their place is much more fun.
